It's kind of annoying bc yeah I get that I'm not working the way they want me to (in office) but I voluntarily chose to work from home while I have the flu instead of just taking PTO bc it's super busy rn, otherwise I would have just taken the PTO. And for PTO we don't need doctors notes or anything, it's no questions asked but bc in working, just not in office, I have to prove I'm not abusing that privilege and I'm actually dying

More reason to go job hunting

Also it's just being spread around the office too I'm finding out lmao people were sick last week that I didn't know and now the girl that sits beside me told me she was going to the doctor today and she describes the exact same symptoms I had. She was in denial she had the flu even after my results came back positive despite that lol

I get it once every one to two years but also my winters are a little more harsh than yours. What sucks for me is if I get a fever then I have “fever dreams” which means I’m hallucinating while trying to sleep or just laying there. It’s exhausting and sucks

I've had fever dreams before when I was younger but it's been awhile, I used to get a lot of like 1 day colds that my mom always thought I was lying about until she checked and I would actually have fever lol
