yeah it's a disgusting symptom of capitalism to use government funds for sporting events and stadiums etc. i cant blame wwe here, this is on local and state government. I am and always will be of the mind that public funds have no business paying for stadiums or paying for billion dollar corporations to show up. I don't care if others do it, it's wrong. They always use the argument that it brings money back by people spending but you can do that without paying people to show up.

yeah they ignore the fact that these companies have to tour regardless and ppvs and events will happen wether or not you essentially bid for it. this only happens in sports too. you never hear of cities bidding for Taylor Swift to show up and do a concert cuz yknow...tours hit gig cities no matter what
