I think one reason why Jeff Jarrett's main event push in Russo's WCW didn't get the backlash that Roman Reigns' push in 2015 got was because WCW at the time had no Daniel Bryan on its roster so Jarrett was luckier in that sense.

What Sky said. Roman wasn't as well rounded as he would be even as early as 2018-19. And Jarrett still received backlash for overexposure and etc. But he was the LEAST of WCW's issues at the time
