Wouldn't "Jinder before Jinder was a thing" better describe Jeff Jarrett's main event push in Russo's WCW?

Multitime IC, and tag champ. Probably at least won midcard titles in WCW before his 99-00 run. So not as bad. Just was overexposed as fuck

I think one reason why Jeff Jarrett's main event push in Russo's WCW didn't get the backlash that Roman Reigns' push in 2015 got was because WCW at the time had no Daniel Bryan on its roster so Jarrett was luckier in that sense.

The question of "why is this WWF midcarder in the main event now" should have been answered by "Clearly this is a guy Vince Russo is high on, Vince Russo runs WCW now, so he's getting a push"

What Sky said. Roman wasn't as well rounded as he would be even as early as 2018-19. And Jarrett still received backlash for overexposure and etc. But he was the LEAST of WCW's issues at the time
