I ready recently one guy has a theory they're about to test to search for different particles in one galaxy that's relatively close bc he analyzed it and thereotically life shouldn't be able to exist there unless it evolved differently in which case we're looking at the wrong things. Might be a needle in the haystack but I'm interested

Yea... but if you think about it, there doesn't need to be a similar atmosphere to ours for there to be different kind of living species.
