I'd almost say the globalization era even though that sounds more modern. My first thought was simply the world war era bc of the two, but how globalized every society became is what led to them happening anyway

TBF I couldn't think of anything else and they really did kind of affect society at large, not just in the UK and France but also later on in Russia and Byzantium

I like globalization for the ??? Still, personally I'd probably split your current era into two as well, just not sure where I'd end the first half. Fall of the Berlin wall maybe, possibly 9/11
