That's a fair assessment. Vince already knew that social media was important, but probably was still just too convinced of his own creative and booking talent, so he didn't feel the need to go full on cross-promotioning with YTers, streamers and podcasters. Hunter is in comparison exactly what you'd expect from a present day booker in that regards.

On top of that, it's obvious they are leaning into it, because they feel that's just how the wind blows for the next, I dunno... 5-10 years probably, at least. So trying to get an early start on the best positions in the race, pretty much.

Vince at the very least knew celebrities were a means to an ends, promoting WWE first and foremost, Hunter and Khan both are just bringing people in because "We're hip guys! Look at us with these people!"
