i dont see forums going anywhere if anything they will get more popular as the techno overlord billionaires continue uto poison and homogonize anything that is not independently ownes

Tbr last couple years this hasn’t been in the case. Forums have derously dwindled , but I hope you’re right and I hope they make a good comeback. The average person seems to be too lazy though to sign up somewhere. I’d rather just have everything in one place which is why they like Reddit or Discord or social media.

but i wouldnt use a forum to congregate. still a good place to discuss ideas etc. but unless ur in live chat its not really the fastest or most secure way to communicate.

Forums that are mismanaged tend to fall apart after a while, or there comes a time when it becomes too expensive to run.
