I used to have a soundbar but I never really thought it added more than the tv speakers.

I can tell a major difference if it's something that utilize the surround

If it's mono stuff it kinda sounds the same, maybe a tad clearer

i dislike sound bars myself, ive tried em, they ok

There's also a lot of stupid settings you basically just need to turn off to make it not fuck up your sound like most TVs are with picture settings now
