I think the music industry is cyclical in that manner to some aspect. You had bands in the 50's then Elvis changed it. Then we had bands come back jn the 70's. Then the 80's was a mix of both thanks to Jackson and Madona. The 90's continued that trend and the 2000's went more singular.
