Im working Sunday to Friday. 6 dang days

Meanwhile a lot of my coworkers are off 2 or three days even during those 6 days but somehow they said they couldn’t figure out a better schedule lol

The best thing about working early on Saturday is I’ll get off in time to watch Survivor Series

We "earn them" throughout the year but I think it's just so someone doesn't take them all early and then quit but also as long as you do the math and don't go over the entire 14 days we get for the year, they let you take them way before you accrue everything lol so it's just extra math we have to do for no reason to remember how many days we have left

yeah we dont have such safeguards its kinda wild

however in 7+ years ive never had a pto denied and have never been questioned ever about using them to call in sick

My boss technically does too but I told him I wasn't working a Friday the rest of the year a few weeks ago before anyone else claimed anything

yeah like I said my boss forgets to even make me put in a PTO day sometimes if it's a last minute sick call so I just get some free ones lmao

Thankfully with this one is I know I'm always free to work from home if needed as long as I have my laptop on me so while I wish I had more official wfh days, there's never going to be an emergency where work gets in the way or is any kind of inconvenience, like I blow a tire or something lol
