I guess eggs aren't dairy but they're always in that section

I had to go to different grocery stores in the area and "comp(etitive) shop" and see what they sold their eggs, milk, and bananas for.

and then we would lower ours 1 cent less

the entire farming industry is here, it's a select few major companies pimping out all the small farms

I had a friend in high school who's Dad had a chicken farm and sold to Tyson exclusively bc of his contract, he had some horror stories

I did it every week and often got kicked out of the stores.

He always refuses to buy Tyson chicken too but acknowledged the others were probably just as bad but always said "ignorance is bliss" and he has s deep Cajun accent so it was hilarious

There was a documentary on Netflix called food inc. it was sensationalized to get the point across like most of them but it mostly gives a good perspective on the modern industry and it's like a decade old now and it's only gotten worse
