nah there's plenty white folks locked up wrongfully too that get overturned, usually poorer ones that can't fight it and get blamed the same way tho

Ordinary citizens consume what the media gives us because a lot of time that’s all we have. If 5 black people are convicted of a crime and the media coverage is all we have to by, what incentive is there to say “oh they’re innocent”. We don’t have the facts and the evidence to make a case ourselves as to why they’re innocent. It’s the police and the court that’s failing them if they’re being wrongfully convicted
