that's why i think commission based jobs are shitty. just turns people into shady con artists.

Seems like some of them also are less likely to help someone who doesn’t look like they have a lot of money.

At least at car dealer ship. My Grandpa years ago went to buy a car after work, knew what he wanted, was ready to pay in full cash. But because he was covered in paint as he just got off work, the car dealer tried to sell him a shitty used car. So he just left

Then my Uncle Randy worked at a dealership and was new, so he didn’t wanna step on toes. But he saw someone who no one was helping for a good food minutes, dressed in t shrit, shorts, and sandals. Can’t remember what car the guy got but it was a pretty expensive one.

All my company's RV salesmen are paid commission and their constantly trying to lie to me to raise profit on the deal to increase it, they hate me lmao

I got in trouble one time, because an elderly lady came in and was on an old plan that she was paying almost $300 a month for by herself because she was going over her data package and paying overages. every single month.

so i got her a new iphone and an unlimited plan and got her bill to be like $75 a month and she was so excited and told my boss what i did for her

I'm sure they're fucking over customers too but in my case they're lying saying the manufacturers promised this money and I'm like I need that in an email from them and they get mad like "it was over the phone" okay well how do I collect then
