Fightful Select] Notes on injured/unused AEW Talent​

• Hikaru Shida is dealing with a finger injury and has returned to Japan.
• Kris Statlander has been back behind the scenes at AEW shows, despite tearing her ACL last year and still being sidelined.
• Miro is “healthy and ready to go” but is still awaiting creative.
• Scorpio Sky has been healthy for several months now, but is just not being used. He signed a 5 year extension in late 2021.
• Leyla Hirsch is “slowly getting there” and has resumed in-ring training after knee surgery in May.

Sky doesn't really have any better options imo, unless he's a guy that would rather be grinding it out in the indies, which I can see not being the case after all the years he ground it out on the indies A guy like him might be happy with what he's achieved in AEW already and fine with being a midcard gatekeeper when needed.... that's how I'd be using him at least

Well if he gets nothing else out of this AEW run, at least he had the brief opportunity to show what the main event version of himself looks like. Hopefully wherever he's performing in the future, we see more of The Redeemer.
