I don't think he's incredible on the mic but he's passable. He's better than Orton when it comes to conveying emotion. And besides, his ring skills will get him over with the fans quicker anyways and when he needs to, the kid can at least talk for himself. Cork, the age of the larger-than-life body builder wrestler is pretty much dead. Wrestling is evolving, and if you don't like the direction it's heading then there is a channel change button on your remote. There's also a Power button as well if that doesn't suit your taste. I was born in '89 so I got to enjoy the entire attitude era. Hulk Hogan was my favorite growing up. Then when I started to wrestle myself, I started appreciating the actual art and athleticism that is required to perform at the level these "vanilla midgets" do. When 1 out of every 100 sports athletes that cross over actually have the talent to be a pro wrestler it's hard to keep the interest in them. Not to mention the wellness policy has pretty much killed full-time wrestlers' ability to stay jacked when they're on the road 3/4 of a year or more. If it's mic talent you're looking for, NO ONE is going to be the next Rock or Stone Cold. I can't help but wonder if that's your problem, you expect those kind of personalities to exist in today's product.
