Those 3 moves are laying the groundwork for him to have one of the GOAT power movesets before he is done. I think they will add a big finishing slam or powerbomb to his arsenal before long in addition to the spear.

Because they only brought him onto NXT TV like 3 weeks before the Shield debuted, a month and a half tops. Rollins was on NXT since it started and was the centerpiece of it all whilst Ambrose wasn't even on it. Rumors say he was supposed to debut after mania against Foley but we all know how that went.
