Well I'd just like to clarify that obviously most wrestlers who do get inducted are happy about it and in cases like Sammartino, it can be a major milestone in their lifetime.
The part that doesn't sit well with me is saying so and so doesn't "deserve" it or is less "worthy" of it than someone else. Because although it's been said a billion times, I guess it bears repeating: there is literally no criteria for this kayfabe Hall of Fame.
Now, if you want to say "I would prefer if this person got in" or "They should induct this person", well, I can't really argue with that. But there is no standard that a person must meet to "deserve" an induction.
