Chris Sabin's deal with TNA expires in the next 48 hours from what I just heard on PWInsider. His last official date with them at the moment is tomorrow's X-Division One Night Only PPV, they're taping for the future. He's apparently reached out to some independent promotions to get bookings. The company has made him an offer, but it looks like another AJ situation where Sabin isn't happy with what's offered and is going to walk away, unless something drastic changes.

As for his role on the indy's, I don't think he could tag again with Alex Shelley, as Shelley spends most of his time now in New Japan, tagging with Kushida. Shelley has won the New Japan Jr. Heavyweight Tag Titles with Kushida & was a winner of the Super Jr. Tag Tournament a few years ago. So he'll probably continue being a solo wrestler.

If he does leave, I wouldn't be shocked if he went and joined Jeff Jarrett's new promotion, since Jeff used to be apart of TNA.

30 grand a year I hear is the flat rate for the no bodies in TNA, AJ is making more money on Indy bookings than he was in TNA. Doubt Sabin gets that kind of money, if he can't team with Shelly, why not feud with him in New Japan?

He's done pretty well there, but it is time for a fresh challenge and to leave that sinking ship. Think Japan would be a good place for him.
