I actually think its possible for the rock to win clean, because WWE knows that the rock brings ratings, and now that he's back, this wrestlemania is getting so much hype, WWE needs the rock and i don't see the rock returning to wrestlemania after 8 years to lose to someone he sees as a kid, Cena winning the match by cheating and turning heel would be a great idea for cena's career, although i don't see it happening because The Rock isn't the kind of person to come back after 8 years just to put Cena over

Rock has barely drawn ratings wise since his return. The kid comment is probably kayfabe and why woukdnt Rock put him over? He's never been that kind of guy.

Longnecks and rednecks.

There are many reasons why each could win, e.g. Cena looking strong or setting up a rematch. One argument in favour of Rock winning that I've heard is that if Cena beats the Rock clean, is it going to be believable that he loses to anyone clean? (not that he does this much anyway).

Rock was never really a selfish wrestler, he's put over people at crucial times throughout his career. Also, the ratings were big at first but they've slide down recently, probably because how bad RAW has been lol.

The way it's been built up, I really can't see a clean Rock clean win (without a heel turn or something big). I'm not saying I wouldn't want that, my ideal scenario is Rock winning and Cena turning heel after he's "ruined his life". But it just won't happen. However, because it's in Miami, Rock's hometown, I can't really imagine WWE ending it on a hand shake Cena clean win either, they know the crowd would boo the shit out of them if that happened. This is why I'm excited as hell, I can't predict it, I just have guestimations.

"Something big". Rock getting a clean win over cena is in itself huge. Rock will get a CLEAN win over cena in his 1st single in 9 years in his home town which will shock the wwe universe. In cena's first clean loss in 7 years.

Any sort of heel turn will be saved for down the road because you can't have everything happen @ wrestlemania. You have to keep fans entertained after wrestlemania and make them want to watch WM 29.

It's not big for anyone other than the IWC. It could only have negative impact on Cena. Also, if you could write Cena's heel turn and pitch it to Vince, could you come up with a better scenario than at WM, in THE ROCK'S home town against the man himself? I'd struggle too.

I just came to say that both of my Rock-Cena predictions came true. Not only did rock beat cena cleanly 1-2-3 middle of the ring but no heel turn seeing as how it was their 1st singles. 'Nuff said.

I'm alright with Cena losing for 1 reason only.
Does anyone actually remember when Cena lost cleanly 1-2-3?
It has to be back in 08 or 09.

Batista, Summerslam 2008.
It gave us a shocking moment and showed us Cena wasn't unbeatable. Finally.
It's all part of a bigger storyline.
