20120919_EP_LIGHT_miz-ryback_C-homepage.jpg

On RAW this week Miz debuted his new talk show "Miz TV" and his first guest was Booker T. After berating Booker T for forcing him to defend his title on PPV against three opponents Booker T decided to bring out his own guest that according to Booker "A Superstar who's used to defeating multiple competitors at one time". That brought out Ryback who proceeded to destroy the entire set whilst Miz ducked for cover.

It seems like Miz has a new challenger for his Intercontinental Championship in the man who has been undefeated since "debuting" five months ago.

Will these two face off at Hell In A Cell? Will Miz hand Ryback his first ever loss? Will Ryback take the title and continue his undefeated streak?

I can see these two having a match at Hell in a Cell. I think that Ryback and Miz could put on the best match featuring Ryback since he debuted.

Yeah I can see this being almost along the lines of Goldberg/Raven. Because up til that match Goldberg has had squashes and not really displayed anything but his match with Raven for the US title it was like... wow Goldberg can be hurt? He can battle back?

This is the WWE version having Ryback face off against the Miz for the IC title. It will be Ryback's best match to date.

It is practically a given that this will be his best match as Ryback so far. He won't squash Miz and will actually have to put up a fight to win, Miz will get in some offense to make him look beatable only for Ryback to still win. I think that this is a good idea by WWE to set him up against an established name like Miz. Will be a massive scalp for him should he win and winning the IC title in the process just continues that link to Goldberg's push. In a way it would actually be quite a high profile match for the title with the undefeated newcomer vs. one of the top names on RAW battling over the title.

They trust Miz with quite a bit. I mean the Rock's first match back... Miz was involved. Getting over Riley, Miz. Miz is quite the established name. And then we have this... Ryback will more than likely win but it is going to be up to Miz to make him look good and Miz definitely will. Just like Raven made Goldberg look good... This is what's going to happen in this match.

Miz has done quite well for himself even when he hasn't been in the WWE title scene. It would give him plenty of confidence that WWE trust him with so much, including a film as well, and surely it is a matter of sooner rather than later for when he heads back into the mainevent. Hopefully in this case if he does put Ryback over Ryback continues to receive a push unluck Riley who was buried after Miz put him over clean on PPV.

The match happens at HIAC and Ryback wins in a decent-good match. Also, someone should count how many matches in a row he's won since redebuting as Ryback.

Just as long as they don't pull a WCW and start inflating the number of wins... it should work for Ryback and WWE.

If Ryback wins the belt, I'm really not sure what it's future will be. I can see him either carrying the belt for a long time and adding to the prestige or just completely fucking ruining it. If it works out, more power to him.

I would rather him have a legitimate month or so long feud before becoming IC champion.

Ryback, albeit he has a terrible name, is the type of wrestlers WWE should be creating. He is an absolute monster. His gimmick is terrific and he reminds me of Goldberg back in the day. I'd be surprised if he isn't World Heavyweight Champion at some point during next year. I thought the way creative had him smash up Miz's set got him over well although I bet it cost them money wise!

He reminds you of Goldberg because he's a rip of Goldberg. I'm pretty sure that the sole intention of his push is to recreate their own Goldberg.
