The beat is beyond terrible. The hook is annoying as fuck and the verses just seem generic. I don't dig it at all. As a whole it comes across as an overly-busy attempt for Eminem to get his old fans back on his side

You're 22, it's understandable that you're not familiar with the classics.

lol clearly I did not. I just did. Yeah you know your shit.

Damn man, I grew up listening to all of that shit in the 80's/90's and I really dig it. Oh well haha.

Just comes across as forced to me. Like he desperately wants to be the dude he once was but I don't really feel it as being genuine like I did when Em really could call himself one of the best alive.

I forgot to add Ice Cube too.

Right on. What's your favorite verse of his? Mine will always be the shit he did on Dead Wrong with Biggie. Fuckin' love it. Or possibly his guest spot on What's The Difference? on 2001.

Infinite has always been my favorite Em song, so I'll go with the first verse from that song:

My pen and paper cause a chain reaction
To get your brain relaxin, cause they be actin maniac in action
A brainiac in fact son, you mainly lack attraction
You look insanely whack with just a fraction of my tracks run
My rhyming skills got you climbing hills
I travel through your mind into your spine like siren drills
I'm sliming grills of roaches, we sprayed and disinfects
and twist the necks of rappers till their spinal column disconnects
We disinfect then check the monologue, turn your system up
Twist them up, and indulge in the marijuana smog
This is the season for noise pollution contamination
Examination of more cartoons than animation
My lamination of narration
Hit's a snare and bass in a track fucked up rapper interrogation
When I declare invasion, there ain't no time to be stare and gazing
I turn the stage into a barren wasteland...
I'm Infinite

Should probably be in the gaming/media section as it pertains to music but Eminem jumps to mind immediately, not because he's my favorite but I've heard more from his discography than any other rapper due to his popularity (particular since I didn't start paying attention to music until five or six years ago) and the fact that he was the first rapper I liked and as such, the first one I went out of my way to listen to. Typically, I never really delve too deeply into any artist, at most I'll listen to all singles and maybe their best rated at album and I can't say I've gone that far for any rapper but Eminem is the one I've gone the farthest with. He's still on my list but I'm not sure I'd say he's my favorite.

Anyway, the other favorites, which I've had significantly less of, would be Immortal Technique (Mistakes has my favorite lyrics in just about any song & I just love everything about You Never Know), Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Tupac (Changes may just be my favorite rap track), B.o.B. (extremely hit and miss but still I really like the ones I do and I've probably heard the second most from him [sadly (Yes, I'm aware how easy it would be to change that)]) & Atmosphere.
