By the way, I don't know if you guys have heard Em's new single... but it's the best shit I've heard out of him in a long time. Frankly, I've dug most of his shit but I have really gotten tired about hearing about his fucking mom or his cunt ex-wife or whatever. I was waiting for him to grow up, and I felt like the last album was him getting clean and growing up. Now he's allowing himself to just have some fun again.

From what I understand, the entire album will be a throwback to the true old school hip-hop. That's good because I can't stand the absolute drizzly shit that passes for hip-hop nowadays.

Here's the new single, it's called Berzerk. Clearly he samples Beastie, but I think old school heads will also hear a lot of influence from Run DMC, LL, some Snoop, and a lot of other shit. I've been listening to this like a zillion times the past 2 weeks on Spotify.

The album is Marshall Mathers 2, and it's being produced by DR DRE and motherfucking RICK RUBIN.

I don't have a favorite rap artist, but the first one that comes to my mind first is always Eminem. Then Wiz Khalifa, 50, Game,...

Public Enemy, old school Eminem, Eazy E, Biggie Smalls, Tupac, People under the stairs, Hopsin, NWA, NAS and Killa Cal Wayne are the first ones that I can remember.
