So we each create a wrestler. What would stop us all going on a big streak of wins like @[Goldberg] did in the late 90's. If we were to do this I personally would rather it be like a creative team when we work on each show. We can write segments for different characters rather then controlling one. Even have some brand warfare if enough people are interested.

I was under the impression that we make our character but then there is a booker? Not that we book our own guys.

I'm still fuzzy on how it would work. The link to the E-Fed already in full swing doesn't do much to help me understand how things actually work. If you turn on a basketball game for someone who has never heard of the sport and say 'see, that's how it goes' it's not going to help them know whats going on

Staff of the board decides the matches and books them and also writes them.

For the wins/losses = www.random.org - Superstar #1 gets number one and Superstar #2 gets number two, the number that the service generates is the winner of the match.

For promos and segments we could write them like "Randy orton calls out Daniel Bryan" etc..

Basic Fantasy Wrestling Forum: http://sportswrestlingentertainment.tk/

It is very basic i think you should check it out.

1.Pick a wrestler, since this is a WWE friendly forum we could go with WWE superstars etc..
2.Booker books matches for PPVs and shows, writes the matches posts it, the winner is declared by a random service such as random.org
3.Write your own promos/segments like "Randy Orton calls out Daniel Bryan" then you two have to roleplay it together or it may be so that the booker chooses to write the promos/segments himself it is all up to the staff of WWEForums.
4.It goes on and on..

That's how i see it however this is all up to the staff members of this community.
It is really easy to understand..

Just had a read of the link and I kind of get it now.

Yeah that basic fantasy wrestling forum pretty much explains the whole fantasy wrestling thing.

As i said this is just how some people wants it to work, every fantasy wrestling forum differs from each other as far as i know there's basic ones and there are advanced ones which is the one i gave you the link to somewhere in this thread.

Now we do not know how Crayo, Xanth or Anonymous wants it to work so the decision is pretty much up to them.

Hopefully our product can be of a higher quality than this http://sportswrestlingentertainment.tk/ lol

*The rocks Song plays*

*The rocks walks to the ring*

The rock:Tonight im booked to wrestle in a fatal 4 way match against John cena , Cm punk and Albertio del rio. Im looking forward to beat the hell out of these guys ;) The WWE Tittle belongs to me not john cena or some other guy and i am going to prove it today on the Night of Champions!!!

*the rocks song plays*

-----------

Anyway, I'm interested in this. It'd be fun to write promos and storylines I think. If we use WWE wrestlers I'll take Dolph, but it would be interesting IMO if we came up with characters, gave them gimmicks, themes, ect

Nah you actually use WWE Superstars for Fantasy Wrestling or TNA if your community is about TNA, i just like it that way but it all matters on the staffs decision.

Yeah that is a very basic and amateur Fantasy wrestling forum we'd definitely need good writers for our forum.

Do the members of the creative team get to have control of a superstar as well or is it one or the other?

Kind of want to know this too.

I get the point of it, sounds quite fun, although at first I'd personally find it quite weird posting a fantasy promo, but I'm all for trying new things! As for picking WWE superstars, once 10 or so entries have been confirmed who's there left? I can't see a new member wanting to join the "eFed" and having to be Yoshi Tatsu.

I'd love to create gimmicks and stuff too. Though I'd want the creative team to have more control, that way we don't have people burying (or attempting too) each week.

Lastly, how's the thread structure going to work out? Let's say you book the show, 6 superstars are involved, let's call them our site usernames now to avoid confusion. Crayo vs FatXanth is a random match, you say we type our own promos but would I reply to that thread? If so, what happens to the rest? It'd be like 5 or so separate conversations in one thread.

I could just go up and look at some examples that you've given, but 1 I'm lazy, but mainly like you say they're all different. I just want some more information before implementing this I guess.

I'm thinking (guessing) you would have to basically PM your promos to whoever is posting the show thread to keep it organized. They would have everything all worked out 'behind the scenes' before posting the show for everyone to see

if it's an angle involving multiple users we could use AIM or something similar to develop ideas and get the dialogue down before turning it over to creative to put the finishing touches on
