No offense KIF (just kidding offense intended) but why did you trade Kendrick Perkins for someone that chico picked up off of the waiver wire like 2 days before?

Had too many bigs and he was pestering me before. I'm still wanting to trade another.

I still have too many big men and I want to get rid of Al Harrington. Someone please take him off me. Jesus Christ... Aren't I easy to rip off? That seems to be the thing around here.

KIF this is your fault. If you would have just come to me for guidance instead of trading away your good players to PSYCH like a stupidhead we wouldn't be having this discussion and you'd be contending for a playoff seed.

Your offer to take over my team was after that and guess what? I still plan on making the playoffs.

jerebko for perkins is even, if anything i might lose the deal, just wanted another eligible center. what perk does never really shows up in the stats, and jerebko's been on a roster basically all year so not like he got some bum you'd have to scroll to the 5th page to find.

I didn't see that deal making a difference either way so guess it's even in that regard.

Lopez update today

Brook Lopez is practicing shooting at Nets practice on Thursday.

Lopez will return around February 10 if he can abide to his original 6-8 week timetable, and there has been no evidence to suggest that he's behind schedule. If you have room in your league to stash him, it makes a lot of sense to do so. All we can say with certainty is that he remains on par with his initial timetable to recovery and is on pace to return in the near future.

Updating a previous item, Brook Lopez (foot) shed his walking boot two days ago.

More encouraging news on the Lopez front, and owners with a roster spot to spare have to give serious consideration to stashing him. His initial estimated return was right around February 10, and it certainly sounds as if Lopez is right on schedule in his recovery.

Brook Lopez (foot surgery) remains on target to return in roughly 2-4 weeks.

Lopez has been out of his boot for two days, has been shooting and even did a little rebounding at practice Thursday. His arms reportedly "look muscular" thanks to all the weight lifting he did following surgery. Lopez remains a strong candidate to play in at least 30 games for the Nets this season. Remember that over the final 22 games of last season, Lopez averaged 22.7 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per night.
