RVP - Best fucking striker in the world. Hands down. That is PURE class.

Yea I caught the end of that match, it was an excellent goal. Not the best in the world though.
Also, I think Giggs deserves more credit for that goal with that pass. Most of the United forwards and mids would have finished that.

Who's better? The only striker close at the moment is Falcao and I would definitely say RVP has the edge over him. RVP is better at holding play up and continuously delivers in the bigger games, Falcao seems to be a *score loads in one game* type player, and then more or less be non-existent in the bigger games.

Messi, Rooney, Ronaldo etc aren't strikers. I'm talking about out and out number 9's.

Rooney IS a striker, he has led the attack plenty of times and eitherway RVP is better than him.

If anyones close to being as good as RVP i would say its Ibrahimovic.

Btw, i think Giggs is still the most creative midfielder man utd has got, his through balls are brilliant.

1) Rooney isn't. He can play a striker and has, but he's not a striker. Seriously Jeebak...

2) On his day yes, but his day comes along once every 10 games. He's stupidly inconsistent and never delivers in big games, RVP is the complete opposite. I would say Falcao is the closest to RVP.

3) No. I love Giggs, but I watch United every single game, he's a liability now. He had a good pass against West Ham and suddenly he's a creative god again, but he's not. He loses the ball more often than not, his tackles are horribly timed and he just can't run any more. Scholes > Giggs, Scholes is still the best passer in the BPL.

1) Then what would u say Rooney is? I know what u will say, "he plays in the hole". But that makes him a striker too doesnt it? A Striker who plays in the whole. He certainly isnt like Messi, Ronaldo or tevez who only plays behind the main man or in the wings and cant lead the attack by himself. He has played in both positions effectively and can be called a striker. He has been hugely dissapointing playing in the whole this season for me, gave the ball away far too cheaply, lack of ball control etc, Tevez has been a better player in that position this season in the BPL.

2) Ibrahimovic IS kind of inconsistant, but what would u say about Van Persie's world cup display?

3) Giggs IS a liability. I never said he isnt. I said hes still the best creative midfielder in united, which he is. Nobody in the united team have produced better trhough balls this season than him. But yes he gives the ball away far too often, his work rate has reduced, he cant tackle, etc. Scholes is the best direct passer, strecthing the play, keeping possesion.

1) He's a CF... He plays behind RVP. He runs back with the midfield when we loes the ball, he's the in-between guy from the CM's to the striker, he is not a striker. Everyone - including myself - expect him to drop into center midfield eventually.

2) I would say Netherlands as a whole were poor at the Euro's. Van Persie's calender year has been the definition of consistent.

3) No he's not, Scholes is still a way better creative player, and so is Kagawa, in my opinion anyway.

1)A Cf is still technically a striker.
Thats the position hes playing in this season, last season he led the line lots of times with Welbeck in the CF position behind him. I dont expect him to drop to CM, hes long passing is good at times, but he loses the ball far too often with his short passes. Hes no scholes.

2) Netherlands as a whole certainly werent poor. Robben has been decent. Sneijder was just unbelievable and played some remarkable passes that ever zidane would have been proud to produce. Eitherway, thats no excuse for squadering tons of chances that most strikers in the world would slot in the net calmly.

3)Scholes certainly isnt as creative as Giggs. Kagawa is maybe the closest to him in the United team. I would like to see Kagawa in Iniesta's position.

1) No, we were talking about out-and-out strikers. Messi isn't a striker, Ronaldo isn't, Rooney isn't (especially not Rooney, he drops back like CM's do). And come on... Rooney was incredible as CM, his short passing is one of his greatest strengths. Dude, do you even watch United play? Sometimes I question that, lol.

2) I can't believe you said the Euro 2012 meme was decent... That's proof you didn't watch Euro's. Robben was the talking point, he was the mot selfish and shit player in the tournament lmfao. I thought you would have guessed that since there's billions of Robben memes because of that tournament.

3) Not even replying to this anymore, please watch the matches.

1)I do watch United, the difference between u and me is that my opinions arent from a biased british point of view. Almost every non-british football pundit doesnt even rate Rooney as the best CF in the premiure league [tevez has that pleasure] let alone in the whole world, he just cant be compared with a world class striker like RVP.

2) Robben was selfish and hence the memes. However, apart from Sneijder, he was the only one in the Dutch team that seemed threatening and likely to produce something. Even his biggest haters will admit that.

3)My opinion is based on the matches. Please post a video of all Kagawa's through passes to claim otherwise.

I'm sorry but Scholes is possibly the most creative player Man U have ever had, best passer in the BPL by far, as Crayo said Giggs is a fantastic player but Scholes does so much more for the team than he does, I still think he would walk into England's team if he didn't retire from internationals.

This. England need Scholes so much as well.
