This. England need Scholes so much as well.

I know, he's the exact type of player they need right now, just a player who can cut open defenses with his passing, just imagine Scholes and Gerrard in CM. :gusta:

Imagine Scholes and prime Gerrard :gusta:

Gerrard plays the Scholes role now for Liverpool - and no where near as good - so I think Scholes/Wilshere would be incredible, or Scholes/Wilshere/Cleverley

Yeah that's kinda what I meant by it, current Gerrard doesn't compare to Scholes imo, scary to think just last season he was retired and now he is once again one of the best midfielders in the Prem.

Lol I know right, he returned and we won 16 out of 17 games with him. Incredible. Pep Guardiola said he would be the player he would take from the PL to bring into Barca, what a compliment :O.

Wow, with players like Xavi and Iniesta there that is some praise, if he was a bit younger that wouldn't seem that unrealistic as well lol, even now he wouldn't seem massively out of place imo.

Yeah Scholes said himself he would never leave United for any club - including the two giants in Spain - but yeah, thought it was quite cool. I never saw Scholes as the type of player he is now years ago, it's weird how your perception of football changes.

You watching Chelsea/Swansea btw?

Yeah I love players like him, just so loyal and a proper sportsman, never heard anything about him in the press apart from things to do with football which is how it should be tbh. Same here, before I thought he was a great player but thought United would just be fine without him, then even when he retired I didn't notice the difference for a while, it wasn't until he came back I realized just how good a player he is. He's always been my Dad's favorite player though so I've always grew up liking him and every single time my Dad sees him he has to say "Paul Scholes scores goals", every single time lol, I think he thinks it's funny or something but considering he doesn't score that much it's just random lol.

Anyway yeah I've just put the Swansea game on, really hope we see a Swansea vs Bradford final, wouldn't be the most entertaining of games but it just shows you don't have to be a massive club to get to finals which would be good, although last couple of seasons the mid table teams seem to be doing better and better in them.

Michu is a god

Do you think he can keep it up? I'm unsure but he shows no signs of stopping this goalscoring form, he has all the right attributes to be a great striker.

Nah I think he's a flash in the pan imo.

Yeah this seems like the most likely situation, kinda like Papiss Cisse unfortunately, always love it when players go on this type of form though. It rubs off on the rest of the team so much.

i want the mighty bradford to win it but want swansea also i dont think cisses a flop just yet hes been out of position most of the season he will come good again and dont think michu will be a one season wonder unless a big club signs him and ruins him like they always do
