I wish they would bring back DX but they are all too old. We need a stable of that magnatitude ya know?

If WWE continues to bring up their NXT stars like they are doing with Shield, and feature them in prominent roles, they won't need to rehire too many stars. Reigns, Ambrose, Rollins, and Cesaro are going to be the future of the company...they still have plenty of other guys in NXT that can fill that void in the company as well, and they could all be future World Champions one day (Ohno, Graves, Neville, Kreuger). However, if you want to bring back the older stars, they can definitely make the new guys look brilliant. Then again, WWE needs to be willing to demote a few guys. Del Rio has a mid-card reputation, there is no need to keep him in the main event scene. This could also be applied to Kofi and Miz, as they fit the US/IC title mold better.

I agree with Kofi and Del Rio. If WWE would loosen up the rope I think Miz would be great main event material. But you're right, NXT does have alot of future stars, but is WWE gonna use them or push them right? Will the right superstars like even John Cena put someone over?

That's my concern. In the current WWE climate, you never know how they will work with a talent, and you can only cross your fingers that it will work out. However, when I look at the guys they would need to get through in order to be someone (i.e. Orton, Cena), I can't help but to be skeptical on how well they will do.

Exactly. I see CM Punk actually putting someone over, I'm unsure of Cena or Orton. I'm even more unsure of, and maybe people will dislike this ex-kliq member Triple H running the show. I dunno man. But like I said, I come from the golden era, I seen mid-80s/early 90's wrestling, we all know the boom year of when it was red hot, and after WWE fucked the landscape by buying everything and not making proper use or it, or basically killing the completion and fuck you Vince, yes you were trying to kill it. My concerns become are we headed for a very long downtime as far as popularity and largely subpar wrestling/storylines?

We are only three years apart in age, so I can relate with the wrestling eras that we have seen. I think that wrestling is still somewhat popular, but I feel it's more because it is prostituted to the mainstream rather than being watched due to pure interest and fandom.

I agree. Why did he get off to a bad start might I ask? Anyway, thats also apart of the problem, do you wanna be prostituted to the mainstream for massive appeal, and lose you're core fan base (us) because you don't wanna see a downtime?

I personally akin this to rap music. The best comparision. Personally, the only people it alieninates in my opinion is us, the hardcore fan before it was cool to be a wrestling fan ya know? And truely believe before long it's gonna hurt the product.

If they brougth Carlito back simply because he's turned himself into a "body guy" I would probably die of laughter. Morrison did say he expected to return one day, he just needed to get better on his promos and such when he left I believe. MVP has improved a lot and would be a great return. I want to say Chris Masters, but what's the point? He had his return and they didn't do anything with him. As for Croft, I believe he's done with wrestling. He's a school teacher now.

Carlito, MVP & Morrison would all be good choices. I don't think they've burnt their bridges yet either.

WWE wouldn't touch Matt Hardy with a barge pole nowadays, too much shit surrounding him and unlike his brother he doesn't sell enough merch to be worth the hassle.

I honestly don't want to see Shelton back in WWE. I don't see him bringing anything new to the table.

Bringing Finlay back up to the main roster wouldn't be a bad call either.

Finlay is 54. You think Shelton wouldn't bring anything new?

I'm not really interested in Shelton either. Finlay has had some great matches since leaving WWE, plus didn't the article say they're looking for guys to help the younger superstars? I believe Brian Kendrick said he'd go back to the WWE, he runs his own training school now so he'd be perfect for something like this.

And Finlay's been wrestling God knows how long. Nobody said anything about how long anyone's been wrestling.

I believe Carlito is still on extremely good terms with WWE and I've always thought he would return.
