I can't really judge since I've just seen one match of his, but from what I saw, I really liked the guy (and so did the crowd). But I've heard he's been making some noise in the indy circuit (most notably Dreamwave wrestling).

As long as he doesn't have Davies flaws like "fuck psychology, all moves, all intense" and such, I'm for giving the dude a shot.

July 15th: EVOLVE Champion Chris Hero has created a unique situation regarding his Title defense on August 8th. Since this is the reboot and we are starting at zero, Hero will select the most impressive individual from the card to defend the title against. We'll find out during the EVOLVE tripleshot in Florida. These four competitors will compete in a Round Robin Challenge! You already know Gulak and Busick from their epic Style Battle finals last year. Thatcher impressed at A Wrestling Odyssey and is looking to make a big impression in his EVOLVE debut. James Raideen is a young competitor with an impressive resume as he has already been Zero One Champion in Japan. Raideen blew people away at his FIP debut last weekend. Who is the master of the sport of pro wrestling?

July 15th: We regret to inform you that AR Fox has suffered a wrist injury and will need surgery on his wrist. This puts him on the disabled list for the Florida shows. Fox will return to action when he has a full recovery, which should be 2-3 months. Thank you for understanding.

Not sure how I feel about the focus on singles matches. It is cool and unique. But I'll miss tag matches since they are pretty nifty when done right and is a good way to introduce a couple of guys to the roster. But I get that Gabe is trying to make Evolve stand out (God knows I among other fans have dogged him about that) by giving it more of a sports focus so I'll live with it.

Of the crowd. He works the crowd as well as anybody. I'm not talking about work rate or ring prowess.

Well he's working in Evolve. A promotion based on work rate in ring over microphone skills. Microphone skills won't hurt but it's in ring that will be important.

And I've seen Raideen before. He's nothing to hang in the Christmas tree on the microphone front.

Rebooted? Drew Galloway wins the Evolve title in his debut. Rebooted my ass.

To think this was my #2 fav promotion for about their 10+ shows, but since then it all basically went down the toilet. Screw u Gabe.

Evolve is miles and miles below of what they were before. They were different and awesome, now it's just another indy company. Way to go Gabeo.
