Eric Bischoff’s TV series Daddy’s Home has been picked up by Nick at Night.

Deadline.com reports that the show stars Scott Baio as an actor who, after 10 years of starring as America’s favorite TV dad, becomes a stay-at-home father to honor the deal he made with his soap-star wife so she can return to the limelight. The show was picked up from pilot for twenty episodes and is produced by Bischoff and Jason Hervey.

Hasn't Baio already done two reality shows. One about being single 45 and single. One about getting a girl Prego 46 and preggo.. Now with a kid? If I remember the first two didn't last very long.

This isn't a reality show it is a scripted comedy. Scott Baio must be so grateful that Bischoff and Hervey gave him a second career, he did nothing for a long time and now this is his third show. If Bischoff is showrunner for this then he is going to have to be there during filming to ensure everything goes to plan. Does he leave TNA or just take some time off?

It's scripted but he's basically playing himself? I see fail written all over it Baio isn't relevant or funny enough to get this show over.

Probably an exaggerated version of himself. He needs to be cleaned up a bit to be presentable for this and the writing will need to be very good to make this a success. He was funny back in Happy Days but that was a long, long time ago.
