Your honesty is commendable, but I wouldn't be shocked if D'Z caught wind of this thread and read what others are saying about him.
I've been called overrated before. It isn't a big deal. Being acknowledged by your peers is cool.
Despite the negativity, since the person didn't know me personally it doesn't bother me at all.

I guess I'm trying to toe the line here. Believe it or not, long ago, he and I were best friends on this site (not in real life).
I left for a year and we found different crowds. I could tell what he might do if he saw your post, but its best I let him speak for himself.
It is b*llsy for you to come right out and say what you did, publicly. I also believe you did what you did for your own personal reasons.

It's possible D'Z has offended you and neither of you are aware that you're hitting a nerve and not realizing it.

If he offended you at some point, it might be cool to clear the air and get something off your chest.
It may not mean much but it might help you see him in a slightly different light.

For example, Stopspot and I don't get along too well. We used to, but the way he and I go about things are polar opposite.
There are some things that guy cares about and he puts a great deal of effort into supporting those things and can defend his choices very well.
I only found that out through debating him, getting under his skin and realizing he can be depended upon to carry out his responsibilities.

That might be a good idea. But I don't think it's happening.

It's mostly due to being contrarian in the least appropriate time.

It isn't my intent to derail this thread, but it is cool traveling down memory lane in a thread based on this past year's experiences.

Contrarian? Well, you and me have pretty much always been on the same side. I don't think we've ever argued.
You're not a contrarian for the sake of being a contrarian, you have a compelling argument and you're very opinionated. That's cool, in my opinion.
