ECW World Heavyweight Champion: Mike Awesome
ECW Television Champion: Rob Van Dam
ECW Tag Team Champions: Tommy Dreamer & Raven
ECW Hardcore TV: Episode 342
November 13th, 1999
Dayton, Ohio
Raven and Paul Heyman are in a parking lot, Heyman sits next to Raven and asks why did he ever bring back The Sandman? That drunk will drive him crazy, Tommy is always bitching about teaming with Raven, the Impact players are always bitching about title shots everyone's critical. He has to come up with something new every week, god dammit. He says he's as miserable as Raven is. Raven asks why he's telling him. Heyman says he doesn't know and says "Quote the Heyman, nevermore." And they both start laughing.
The Tommy Dreamer promo from TNN airs.
The final moments from Rhino/Sandman, then the post-match Raven promo airs.
ECW Television Championship: Little Guido (w/Big Sal E. Graziano) vs. Rob Van Dam (w/Bill Alfonso)
This is your weekly RVD padding title defense match, he’s clearly just going through the motion here. No one buys Guido having a legitimate shot, as Joey does his absolute best to make it seem that way. Some of Joey’s commentary is the worse, for example, a small where’s my pizza chant breaks, out Guido doesn’t sell it like at all, he continues to be focused on RVD never taking his eyes off him. Then Styles says Guido the always hot-headed is letting this chant distract him. NO THE FUCK IT DIDN’T! Guido out wrestles RVD on the mat, because he’s a STRAIGHT SHOOTER!!! And RVD is trash at mat wrestling. Once that part ends, the match finally picks up, I liked that Guido has a lot of RVD stuff scouted but RVD is so athletic that if he misses with a first or second kick, RVD would do some incredible 3rd kick that comes out of nowhere to get him. RVD hits this awesome running spin kick on the floor as Guido is up against the steel rails. The 2nd half of the match suffers from two commercial breaks, which hurts the flow of the match as it seems to haven taken a huge chunk of the match out. Both men go back and forth for a while, as both managers IDK if Sal is a manager, he’s more of a bodyguard. Anyway, both men on the floor interfere to help their respected guys. Sal tries to get involved but RVD moves and he accidentally squashes Guido in the corner, RVD takes him out with a running dropkick with a chair to the face, RVD then finishes off Guido with the Van Daminator and the Five-Star Frog Splash. **3/4
Danny Doring & Roadkill vs. CW Anderson & Bill Wiles
This is a pre-show, Dark match from N2R. it goes about 4 minutes or so. Danny/Roadkill are the default faces for this match, they put on a nice showing and so does CW. Not much to say, really, everyone has a good showing. I wanna see more. Doring hits a Flying Legdrop, and Roadkill follows with the Flying Splash from the opposite corner for the win. **1/4
ECW World Heavyweight Championship: Taz vs. Mike Awesome (w/Judge Jeff Jones)
Damn, Taz is still around
This is fine but it was missing that something. They fill up most of the time brawling in the crowd and to the back near the concession stands, then on the floor. It’s mostly clubbing blows and hair pull to the next position to punch. They eventually make their way to the ring, where Judge brings a table into the ring, Taz slides out of an awesomebomb and hits a t-bone suplex, he then places Mike up top and hits a belly-to-belly off the top. Judge Jeff gets in Taz' face which gives Mike time to recover, he then hits an Awesomebomb through the table but Taz kicks out. Mike then hits the splash off the top for the win. Really safe match. **
