ECW Hardcore TV: Episode 246
January 5th, 1998
Queens, New York

The show opens with Joey Styles in the ring welcoming us to the show, a huge “Philly Sucks” turns into a huge “Philly Sucks Dick” chant

Highlights of the Queens show airs, they don’t really give much away apart from Jason brings in Nicole Bass and he calls her the sexiest woman on earth. EWWWWWWWWW! She then gives Pablo a shitty looking powerbomb for touching Jason. Credible then challenges anyone in New York to a fight, and we cut right into the Dudleyz Jack/Spike brawl which looks like the usual Jack hardcore violent fun.

So that whole highlight/recap nonsense took up 17 minutes lol

Brakus (w/Lance Wright) vs. Paul Diamond
This goes 10 seconds, before Brakus applies the full nelson foe the win. After the match; Lance then buries Diamond under the WWF flag, and Taz comes out. Jeff Jones the ref gets on the mic and says if Taz gets in the ring and he’ll……do something bad. Taz gets in and Jeff says he’s forcing him to and he slaps Taz :mark: He goes to throw a punch and Taz Tazplexs him, Sabu then attacks Taz and RVD joins in too. Lance and Brakus leave running away, as Sabu puts Taz in the camel clutch and RVD dropkicks him in the face. Sandman comes out swinging his cane but can’t connect; Furnas and Lafon are behind him and attack. It turns into a 4 on 2, but Tommy Dreamer and Al Snow come out to save! Al Snow uses Head as a weapon to clear the ring.

All 4 faces are in the ring and Tommy issues a challenge it’s the 4 of them taking on RVS, Sabu, Furnas and Lafon. Taz then grabs the mic and says he’s not on any fucking team. He does what he wants when he wants. If he wants to be their partners he will be here if not. FUCK THEM!

Joey Styles Team WWF agrees to the match

Highlights of an Indianapolis, Indiana show with New Jack hitting a sneaky balcony dive, Styles then announces the next PPV will be ECW Living Dangerously on March 1st, and it will be from Asbury Park, NJ.

Everyone comes out apart from Taz, and Fonzi gets on the mic he says it looks like they’re missing someone and Taz is not a team player and is a piece of shit loser and is a no good new York selfish asshole. Well, Taz comes out to join the match.

Team Extreme (The Sandman, Tommy Dreamer, Al Snow & Taz w/Beulah McGillicutty & Head) vs. Team WWF (Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Phil Lafon & Doug Furnas w/Bill Alfonso)
This is the vintage ECW main event multi-man match; everyone brawls on the floor while 2 men work in the ring. Very average stuff by everyone here; the brawling on the floor and the very okay put together of alright, we fight in the ring then you come in, then it’s me and you ect. Sabu hits a triple jump legdrop putting Sandman through a table, he then hits the triple jump no hands plancha knocking Dreamer into the crowd. The first real good use of the match is everyone teaming up to take out the Sandman, while knocking Taz off the apron countless times. I find it hilarious that Taz is following the rules by standing on the apron waiting for the tag when his tag partners are all whipped out and Sandman is being beaten 3-1 in the ring :lmao, also why is Sabu standing on his own corner waiting for the tag? :lmao should be joining in on the beatings. Taz hot tags in somehow and cleans house, he locks in the TAZMISSION but Brakus comes down and Taz takes him down, but other wrestlers from the back try to break it up. Do eventually get pulled apart and it goes to the back. Beulah cuts off Fonzie with a DDT, and Sabu clothesline her. The Can-Ams go after her. But, Snow cuts them off with head shots and rolls up Furnas to win. **1/4

Highlights of November2Remember PPV airs which is being voiced over by Paul Heyman.

ECW Hardcore TV: Episode 247
January 12th, 1998
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

So over the weekend ECW had a show called House Party ’98, and in true ECW fashion the next 2 weeks are filled with highlights of that show. YAY!

The show opens with the peak of Al Snows life, when he makes his way down to the ring and 85% of the crowd is holding their manikin heads. “We got head” chant breaks out.

Al Snow (w/Head) vs. Roadkill (w/Chastity & Paul Diamond)
Diamond is injured so RoadKill is taking his place; this is very TV’ish of a match. Roadkill gets the better early on as Snow keeps trying to crawl to head for advice I guess. He then gives up and gets super aggressive or “snaps” Paul is not injured and he accidently dives on Roadkill, Snow hits him with the snowplough and goes after Chastity, he sees Roadkill coming in and avoids so he hits her. Snow then picks up head and hits Roadkill with it, he then hits Chastity with the snowplough and follows up with a diving headbutt with head to Roadkills groin for the win.

Joey Styles welcomes us to the show and says tonight it will be Lynn/Candido and Credible/Sasuke

Chris Candido vs. Jerry Lynn
I still wanna know how a young Jerry Lynn still looks like he’s pushing 40 and when he’s pushing 50 still look like he’s pushing 40. This is such a Candido and robot Lynn spot match, they do the lets slow it down then do some counters then slow it down, okays spots match it’s pretty uninteresting. Candido isn’t that great to be honest his style of match it pretty bad, but I can still see glimpse of it in today’s indy wrestling so I guess it worked IDK! I just didn’t like this at all. Lynn young white meat babyface comeback isn’t buyable at all; he’s the most robotic videogame character ever. Well not ever because some of the wrestlers today are Lynn adjace. I should say he’s the OG Robot/prototype gimmick. There is this one hilarious moment when Lynn hits a plancha into the crowd but he can’t get his hands up to break his fall so he goes face first into a chair seat. He then botches a running senton flip dive and goes mid-section first in to the steel rails and just flips onto Candido in the crowd :lmao Candido sells his arm the whole match with legit no work being done to it, so when he and Lynn rolls in Lynn applies a cross armbreaker and Candido taps instantly. After the match; Doctors and Lynn check on him, and the doctors put his arm in a sling. They shake hands and Candido is helped to the back. *3/4

Joey Styles announces Chris Candido has a partially torn bicep.

Recap of Mikey getting his “leg broken” by Justin Credible.

More highlights of the House Party show.

Justin Credible (w/Jason) vs. The Great Sasuke
Before the match, Jason gets on the mic and calls Nicole Bass the love of his life, and THEY MAKE OUT HOLY SHIT! Jason thankfully sends her or it to the back. Sasuke is amazing early on he wants to get revenge so bad that he’s hurting his body around as a weapon taking the fight to Justin early. We go to a commercial so I miss quite a bit, but when we return Sasuke is still in control but he’s doing his best to stretch the shit out of Justin’s whole body. He works the leg, arm, mid-section and head one after the other. Jason gets involved but it doesn’t matter as he still is able to mostly hit the dive he just hit his neck off the ring apron and looks to be shaken up a bit. Jason again gets involved and this time he misses the dive going knees first onto the concrete. Well, Justin works it and is super aggressive in doing so. It’s made better by the yelling and selling of Sasuke. This goes on for good 4 minutes and it’s the best thing about the match, Credible beats up his knee with a chair, but Sasuke fights back as best as he can on one leg. He misses a Phoenix Splash though, and Credible hits that’s Incredible to win. After the match; Jason and Justin continue to attack the knee, when Gran Hamada comes out to save, but Credible lays him out too. Other wrestlers and officials come from the back to run them off. **1/2 - **3/4

ECW Hardcore TV: Episode 248
January 19th, 1998
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Joey Styles welcomes us to the show as a “FUCK NEW YORK” chant breaks out, he then introduces his guest Taz. Joey says he's elevated the TV Title, to heights it’s never been before. Lance Wright then comes out and Taz says why don’t you come in the ring you cocksucker. Lance gets in and says his bodyguard is in the back waiting, he then says he was talking to his mommy the other day and she said it’s time to move on from bigger and better things than Taz. So she bought him something; and saw the incident of when Taz broke his neck. He brings out Taz's opponent for tonight, the real best TV Champion ever and the man who broke his neck……… 2 Cold Scorpio.

Scorpio refuses to be introduced as Flash Funk and Wright is mad. So Scorpio punches him and his a shitty moonsault, with his knees hitting Lance in the chest :lmaolmao

ECW Television Championship: Taz vs. 2 Cold Scorpio
Finally something good after 3 weeks, real great feeling out process and chain, mat wrestling to start. I love that Taz is off his game, and isn’t sure about Scorpio but Scorpio knows this is home and he needs to take the fight to Taz and he does, his flashy high risk moves all look risky af and look one slip away from him breaking his neck. This turns more into a brawl match than a wrestling match, which is a little shocking but it works as they both lay into one another with very minim weapons usage. Scorpio uses a chair for an assisted bulldog before hitting a powerbomb, but he doesn’t go for the pin. Instead he hits the splash for two. Scorpio then hits a somersault legdrop and gets another two, Scorpio starts feeling himself a bit much and gets suckered in by the crowd support which allows Taz to make a comeback. Taz catches Scorpio out of nowhere when he tries the Corkscrew Stinger Splash and gets the Tazmission for the win. **3/4

Lance Wright and Doug Furnas come out, they walk right past Taz and Doug attacks Scorpio. Taz comes back and takes out Doug. But here comes Lance’s bodyguard and Taz fucks him up with ease :mark: Taz and Scorpio stand tall. Taz gets on the mic and says he's never heard of anyone named Flash Funk, but tonight he knows 2 Cold Scorpio, a wrestler, the athlete, and the man he used to admire, and any time he wants to wrestle for a real promotion, he's welcome in his locker room. Taz leaves and Scorpio dances.

Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Rob Van Dam (w/Bill Alfonso)
This is fuckin’ tremendous, RVD is finally figuring it out. He still has his flashy moves along with post match taunts but he’s mostly focuses on the match. Bam Bam absolutely kills him with his amazing big man power moves and RVD being the best bumper during his time in ECW just gets killed. He even makes a simple slamming of his head onto the table look like he died. Bam Bam keeps destroying RVD back sending him into the guard rails but he tries it like for the 5th time and RVD counters with a headscissors sending Bam Bam headfirst into the rails, RVD does the “RVD” taunt while on the floor :lmao after the move. RVD begins to turn it up now hitting him in the kidney that he hurt at the PPV and “allegedly” had to get surgery on. RVD hits the awesome looking running leaping dive from the floor onto Bam Bam who is in the crowd, he’s not done as he heads to the top and hits a plancha onto him again in the crowd. RVD still isn’t done and hits a flying clothesling sending Bam Bam over the rails into the crowd again. HE’S STILL NOT DONE AND HITS THIS FUCKIN AMAZING CROSSBODY ONTO BAM BAM CLEARING THE RAILS AND THE 3RD ROW. Bam Bam isn’t staying down, they fuck up a leg sweep and RVD knee just nails Bam Bam in the head. RVD continues to stroke away with punches, forarms and kicks but he gets a little to cocky off the top and Bam Bam catches him with an amazing slingshot sending him ¾ across the ring and into the turnbuckle. He murders RVD with a fakeout suplex into a DDT for two, Bam Bam goes for a senton splash but RVD rolls away but Bam Bams legs catch RVD in the back. RVD recovers and comesback with chair attacks. Bam Bam catches a chair coming in and nails RVD with it, he grabs Fonzie to tease a crowd throw but he sees RVD coming in and throws him into RVD. RVD goes for the Van Damnintor by Bam Bam avioids and the ref gets taken out. Bam Bam then proceeds to hit RVD with it taking him out and down to the floor when Chris Candido runs interference. Bam Bam hits him with the chair and greeting From Asbury Park. Sunny and Francine come out, and he gets them both up, but Shane Douglas comes out and low blows him allowing RVD to come off the top with a side kick. He then follows up with the Five Star Frog Splash for the win. AWESOME FUCKIN MATCH! Minus the fuckery at the end. *** - ***1/4

ECW World Heavyweight Champion: Shane Douglas
ECW Television Champion: Taz
ECW Tag Team Champions: Chris Candido & Lance Storm

ECW Hardcore TV: Episode 249
January 20th, 1998
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Show opens with a the highlights of Shane Douglas’ title win over Bam Bam at the PPV.

Oh for fuck sake, Shane Douglas is in the ring with Francine. JESUS! Christ the mic’s are so terrible that I have to put on subtitle to read what he says. Shane says at the PPV he made Pittsburgh the new home of ECW, and on that night he suffered an injury. And they start giving him a “you’re number 1#” chant :lmao He says it would be grat to be the first person to retire as world champion, it’s not what he planned. But as of the moment the surgery performed this week was a success and the advice he was given by the doctors was that he’s done. He says he's changed his mind back and forth, so he's done……. He's done listening to fucking doctors, because he WILL NOT retire ever, and you'll have to carry him out in a box to take his title.

Joey Styles announces Shane Douglas will be in the ring at the March 1st PPV; Living Dangerously. But will be making his return this weekend at Hostile City Showdown. Bam Bam is pissed and walks up to Styles, he says he can never finish his work. He asks Joey if he's heard the rumor that this new Triple Threat will officially form this Saturday in Philadelphia, and Joey says that's the rumor. Bam Bam says he needs a partner then, someone with balls and guts, before he says he's going to break the Triple Threat's arms and legs.

Backstage: Bam Bam Bigelow is in the locker room, the FBI are shook of him as he walks up to Al Snow and head who want to be his partner. But Bam Bam just walks away, he then goes into a corner by himself stressing about it. Head and Snow again try to get Snow to do it, well Head does but Al wants no part of it. Bam Bam calls him sick in both heads and leaves, he them BUSTS INTO TAZ’S ROOM AND SAYS HE’S SINGLING HIM OUT! HE NEEDS A FUCKIN’ PARTNER AND HE NEEDS HIM TO COME OFF HIS HIGH HORSE TO HELP HIM OUT! Taz says he does what he wants when he wants to do it and walks back into his room. Bam Bam says help him out, they’re east coast boys. DO THE RIGHT THING!

Highlights of the RVD/ Bam Bam finish fuckery match from last week

ECW Television Championship: Big Dick Dudley (w/The Dudley Boyz) vs. Taz
This goes a minute before Taz chokes him out. After the match; the Dudleyz try to attack him but he runs them off single-handedly. He then gets on the mic and says he has a message for Bam Bam, he calls him a big fuckin schmuck. Nobody singles him out, I single you out. FUCK YOU! And you know why I’m Taz the ECW World Television Champion. BEAT ME IF YOU CAN! SURVIVE IF I LET YOU!

Joey Styles is going over the Taz/Bam Bam/Triple Threat stuff when Taz. They then air the TV title switch at WrestlePalooza ’97.

Paul Diamond (w/Chastity) vs. Al Snow (w/Head)
This is pretty much a Snow showcase for 5 minutes, Paul got some shots in but no one that will ever watch this will ever believe he was or could win. Al uses head as a weapon and hits the Snowplough for the win.

Rob Van Dam is in a gym, he says he’s gonna show us the difference between him the athlete and Sabu, Sandman and Dreamer. He explains what the Van Dam lift is, which is when he does a split on benches and lifts a dumbbell and says he's going to set the world record.

The New Triple Threat are in a hallway, Douglas says the only reason Bam Bam left was because he knew Douglas was gonna kick him out and because Rude snitched it off. He says loyalty matters.

Al Snow and head are upside-down, he tells head he is thinking about all the stuff in his head.

Rob Van Dam does the Van Dam Lift of 166.5 pounds. He gets down and says he never claimed to be the showstopper. He's Rob Van Dam. HE IS THE FUCKIN’ SHOW!

Douglas says look at the intensity in his eyes and everything about the Triple Threat is a fuckin shoot :lmao He says every week they try to copy ECW and he is the Franchise and he took ECW to this level. Candido brags about being with Sunny, and Douglas says in the ECW arena they will raise the 3 fingers in the air.

Bam Bam bust outside in the snow looking for Taz, he finds him and they go back and forth yelling at one another. Bam Bam says this is his chance to prove his is the biggest and baddest. He says does he want his money WHAT DOES HE WANT! Bam Bam then gets in his knees and Taz tells him to get the fuck up, and agrees to be his partner :mark: Taz says he will team with just and once they are done he’s challenging him for his own belt.

Al Snow tribute video then ends the show.

ECW Hardcore TV: Episode 250
February 2nd, 1998
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Show the ending of the Bam Bam/Rob Van Dam match again.

Clips air of Bam Bam asking Taz for his help, Taz murdering Big Dick Dudley, The “NEW” Triple Threat promos from Pulp Fiction.

Joey Styles welcomes us to the show, he says he's going to ring announce this historic match up with all World Champions competing in the ring together. The “NEW” Triple threat interrupts him. Francine’s cleavage is magnificent, she’s got on one of those belly dancer outfits on and here tits are pushed together.

c2sB2rc.gif

Shane Douglas, Chris Candido & Lance Storm (w/Francine) vs. Bam Bam Bigelow & Taz
So this is more of an angle match then anything, this goes about 4 minutes. It’s pretty much Taz throwing around the Triple Threat and Bam Bam vs. Lance. Lance fuckin dies on everything Bam BAM does it’s beautiful, Lance throws a chair in and Douglas goes to hit Bam Bam with it but Taz stops it. He then belly-to-bellies him over the top onto Candido and grabs the TV title holding it up. Taz then talks shit to Bam Bam and throws the title down, Bam Bam then pick it up and whacks Taz with it SWERVE! He puts the boots tom him as the “NEW” Triple Threat join in and celebrate. Francine gets in and holds up the Triple Threat sign. Shane and Candido do it too, so Lance Storm finally holds it up without anyone yelling at him, BUT CANDIDO HITS HIM WITH THE TAG TITLE BELT! DOUBLE SWERVE! Candido then piledrives Lance on one of the tag belts. Taz tries to get at Bigelow, but Douglas and Candido pull him off and beat him up. They hold him for Bam Bam to hit him with the TV Title again, and all three hold up the Triple Threat sign and leave.

Lance Storm is stretchered out, and Taz is being helped to his feet.

Paul Heyman does a voice over for the Sabu/Sandman Stairway to hell match.

Joey Styles talks about the reuniting of the Triple Threat; and hypes up CyberSlam ’98. He says after what we’ve seen tonight you can bet Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Taz will be added to the Living Dangerously PPV.

Joey Styles talks about the path or rage Justin Credible has been on.

Justin Credible (w/Jason) vs. Gran Hamada
Hamada waits for the intros to finish before attacking Justin and Jason, he gets the better of both in and out of the ring for a while until Jason pulls Justin out of the way of a Hamada pescado and Hamada hurts his knee. Well, that all Credible needs as he targets the knee. Hamada isn’t on Susuke’s level of selling but he does a good enough job of selling it. Jason pulls out a Susuke mask and Credible is a dick so he puts it on and hits the That’s incredible for the win. **1/2

Joey Styles takes shots at WCW’s audio going down along with the commentary team, he then talks about Justin’s way of winning matches. He says the ECW hotline is going berzerk after comments that Credible made on option 3.

The Triple Threat are in the locker room. Shane says back in the old days of wrestling when the true tough guys drove up and down the roads, from town to town. There was always some jackass in the next town say, I don’t know, RED HOOK, NEW YORK! That thought he was tougher then the tough guy. You know what they call him? THEY CALL HIM THE MARK? A sucker is born every minute, he says every damn night ECW runs a building its full or Marks. Both in the ring and in the crowd, hey brotha, I made the ECW TV title great :lmao the bottom line is ECW world title is greater than the ECW tv title. SORRY MARK! THAT’S THE WAY IT GOES! He calls Taz a 2nd rate mark, and calls Lance Storm a mark. Candido cuts in and says he’s know Lance since day one, he doesn’t care about the ECW Tag title he just cares about all his fancy moves, and trying to steal not only his spotlight but his girl too. In the back of his mind he knew it, Douglas and Bam Bam calm him down and Shane says Lance may have the wrestling ability, but you are no Candido you are just a MARK! STILL A MARK! He says the Triple Threat is together again and they all do this terrible evil movie laugh.

WHAT A PIECE OF SHIT PROMO, HEY blueberries HOW ABOUT YOU SPEND THE NEXT 5 MINUTES TELLING US WHY BAM BAM WOULD WANT TO RETURN TO THE TRIPLE THREAT WHEN HE’S ALREADY GOT A TITLE MATCH WITH TAZ! AND SO THE PAST 6 MONTHS OF 1997 MEANS NOTHING? FUCK OFF!

February 9th, 1998

Taz is in a dark room, he says “Thank You” Bam Bam, thanks for opening his eyes. He was getting soft and becoming like everyone else around here. A team player, a company guy. Thank you. For smartening him up. And for kicking his ass, the thing is, you had to do it with my back turned. Big Bad Ass Bam Bam Bigelow, the beast from the east. I used to walk in the stone pony and people would shiver, piss themselves. Brotha, you ain’t 18 anymore. Or maybe you ain’t the guy you use to be. You had the chance to bust my jaw wide open. Face to face like men do, but no. you had to wait until my back was turned and used my belt to crack me across the face. Oh, you’re bad and I’m a mark. The only mark is anybody in your hometown that believes in you. See you’re a celebrity and I’m an athlete, you’re a superstar hanging out with NFL players playing golf, I’m busting my ass at the gym at 5am. You’re hanging out with all the bigwigs. WOOHOO! I’m just a miserable workhorse breathing down your big neck, brotha, so at march 1st, you better prepare yourself, big boy, because you ain’t never ever been in that ring with anyone like me. And on a side note, Shane Douglas, you are right I am a mark, I mark for this (He holds up the TV title) you, know the whole while you and Bigelow are pretty smart. You traded that belt back and forth. Then you realized this is the only belt that means something. WHY! SHANE? YOU YELLOW BITCH! I made you tap in 2 and a half minutes. Why don’t you come after me brotha, no? You send the big guy, you can’t send Candido I’ve beaten him so many times I’m tired of it. And you can’t send yourself because you’re yellow and I made you tap. So you send Bigelow, BRING HIM! Prepare yourself Bigelow. I’M TAZ, THE ECW WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION! BEAT ME IF YOU CAN BAM BAM! SURVIVE IF I LET YOU!

Joey Styles says its official at Taz/Bam Bam at the PPV

They air the SWERVE! From last week.

Joey Styles then announces it will be Candido and a dream partner vs. Lance Storm and a dream partner at the PPV, he doesn’t know if the title will be on the line.

Sabu & Rob Van Dam (w/Bill Alfonso) vs. Axl Rotten & Balls Mahoney
So this happens, and it’s pretty sloppy. Like a minute in balls and Axl drop Sabu on his neck with a double team elbow drop move with him on Balls shoulders. They iso Balls and RVD is looking awesome, super crisp and sick kicks along with his flashy moves, I swear RVD/Sabu have like 69 double teams cause it seems like that bust a new one out ever match. Sabu places Balls on a table on the floor and Sabu hits his double jump legdrop taking him out. They roll Balls back in and he got tags Axl who cleans house, all 4 men brawl and Sabu gets taken out with a superkick. Axl goes to hit RVD with a chair but from the floor Sabu holds his leg and RVD hits him with the van-daminator. SABU AND RVD THEN HIT TOTAL ELIMINATION! John Krunus comes out and he attacks RVD and Sabu for the DQ. Kronus gets the better and runs them off; BUT RVD GETS THE LAST LAUGH AS HE GOES CROSS EYED AND YELLS "TOTAL VAN DAM-INATION! TOTAL VAN DAM-INATION! DOC AND GORDY! DOC AND GORDY! DOC AND GORDY!" Mocking Perry :lmao

Doug Furnas (w/Lance Wright) vs. Al Snow (w/Head)
This is from Head TV; there's a Head TV logo in the corner and Joey has head in every word e.g The Famous Head arena and Headadelphia. This is pretty much an Al showcase just like the other matches we’ve been getting the past 2-3 weeks. Furnas is pretty washed and, his basic offense is all he has left. Al uses head for the win. After the match; Snow hits Lance with the Snowplough.

The Dudley Boyz are supposed to fight Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman in the main event, but The Sandman gets on the mic before the bell. He says there are a lot of wrestlers in the back and some of them may hate each other, but he's always thought of them like a family. So when one member of the family's hurting, they all are, and reveals that Tommy Dreamer recently lost his grandfather, who gave him the money to go to wrestling school so he could be here tonight. They have a 10 bell salute and moment of silence and the Dudleyz take their hats off. But, Justin Credible comes out He says he's here to offer his condolences too, and he's sorry that it wasn't Tommy that died instead of his piece of shit grandpa, and Tommy attacks him and they fight, the Dudleyz pull him off and Beulah slaps him in the floor. Jason is also disgusted by this but helps him man to the back.

A recap airs of the Justin/Tommy incident from last week; Dreamer vs. Credible for Living Dangerously is announced.

Buh Buh gets on the mic and calls Credible a worthless piece of garbage, he says no one deserves that kind of disrespect. HE’S JUST AN ASSHOLE! But he can here for a fight, and lets give the people what they fuckin payed for.

The Dudley Boyz (w/Joel Gertner, Big Dick Dudley & Sign Guy Dudley) vs. Tommy Dreamer & The Sandman (w/Beulah McGillicutty)
So this is something, Buh Buh and Sandman come out wrestling and both guys are not the most fluent so as everything connects it’s hilarious. This might the soberest Sandman has ever been like since he was a child. D-Von and Dreamer is a little more watchable, Big Dick chokeslams Dreamer then does a mock New Jack taunt, well that’s enough to bring out Kronus and Jack and apparently they are added to the match. Okay, this turns in to a New Jack violent weapons fest. I should mention the match is clipped a lot, which is a shame but I guess we have to save room for some over pushed piece of shit match and promos coming up. Kronus puts D-Von through a table and we get Jack/Tommy interactions, SWEET! Well, this brings out RVD and Sabu to turn it into a 4 way. Buh Buh does his running plancha to the floor; Sabu uses the spike on Jack. They hit Kronus and New Jack with a Stereo Flying Legdrop through a table, and D-Von covers Kronus to eliminate the Gangstnators. RVD/Sabu along with the Dudleyz take turn beating on one another until Dreamer and Sandman hit stereo roll ups to eliminate them. This gets clipped into the final minute when Dreamer and Sandman hit stereo DDT’s but the camera cuts to the stage where Justin Credible is beating up Mikey Whipwreck, he grabs the mic and begs Dreamer so come get some. Dreamer goes after him and they brawl. Jason along with other wrestlers make the save. RVD and Sabu hit 2 of their 1004 double teams before RVD hits the Five Star Frog Splash and Sabu hits the Arabian face buster with a chair for the win. Fun times, I just wish these matches would get aired in full instead of bum ass Al Snow matches, Justin Credible matches ect.

Backstage: Beulah congratulates Credible on becoming a superstar and being in the spotlight, but says now what? Where do you go from here? She says everything comes with a price, and Dreamer worked for everything he’s accomplished. Clips air of all the beatings Tommy has suffered. Beulah says Tommy has a dark side, and Justin has to lay in this bed.

So we cut to a Florida show, it’s supposed to be RVD, Sabu and Brakus vs. Tommy, Balls & Axl. But Jason comes out. He asks for a chance to talk, and says he wants to apologize for the things Justin Credible said and did last week. Tommy seems to accept it, but Justin Credible comes from the entrance and challenges him to come get him. Tommy chases him through the back and out the front door, and Credible jumps into a waiting car and drives away with Dreamer chasing him on foot, Jason says he has nothing o do with his.

so this is now a tag match.

Rob Van Dam & Sabu (w/Bill Alfonso, Brakus & Lance Wright) vs. Axl Rotten & Balls Mahoney
This was more of an RVD/Sabu exhibition than a tag match, Sabu was on his game hitting all his moves without fuckin up and RVD is great being flashy AF. Balls and Axl has a nice little sowing on offense but you can see they’re still job guys and no one really cares about them unless they are swinging chairs. But, with that being said Axl murders RVD with a powerbomb, but that’s because RVD bumps on his fuckin neck for it, what a guy. Sabu brings in a table while RVD is doing stuff, the match would break down but Brakus gets in and hits Balls with a powerslam and another to Axl but this time through the table. RVD and Sabu hit the rolling thunder/leg drop combo for the win.

tXbff41.gif

Taz is backstage; he says all he can hear and think about is BAM BAM BIGELOW! The big shmuck from Jersey. Then Lance Wright and his suck boy, they send Brakkus. Muscle boy, and send him after Taz. Taz says this match isn’t gonna go long, as I’m gonna stretch you, dump you on your big ugly had and you’re gonna tap out. For 2 reasons, I am that good. And Because you didn’t pay your dues :lmao He says it took him 11 years to make six figures a year, and you get 6 figures to train with the WWF. Well brotha, weights don’t fight back but Taz does. NOW! Bam Bam, your big body is in for hell. Live on PPV! Everyone will watch me do you, I’M GONNA KICK THE DOG SHIT OUT OF YOU! BECAUSE YOU KICKED THE DOG SHIT OUT OF ME! I know I’m in for the fight of my life, you pissed me off Bam Bam, and that’s bad for you. Good for me. BEAT ME IF YOU CAN! SURVIVE IF I LET YOU!

Joey Styles is going over the matches for the PPV, when the Triple Threat comes in. Candido says Lance wants his girl and everyone wants his girl. He tells Lance to get whoever he wants, because he'll get the best partner and they'll destroy them. He says he doesn't have to wait until March 1st to pick his partner.

Al Snow and Head are at the beach; Al Snow is buried up to his head next to Head and argues with Head about how it used all the sunblock. He asks head to let him out as he struggles to get out.

Candido picks Shane Douglas as his partner in the tag match; we then cut to a clipped version of Shane Douglas vs. Chris Chetti from Florida. Shane wins, Taz comes out to clean house on the Triple Threat, but the video stops when he puts Bigelow in the Tazmission as Bam Bam yells at Joey to cut it off.

Bam Bam has them cut the footage, he says he hates to burst his bubble, Taz, but if I have to kill you to stop you from putting the hold on me. I will, because I like Living Dangerously.

ECW Hardcore TV: Episode 253
February 23rd, 1998
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

So the show opens with all the wrestlers, heel and babyface all coming down to the ring and the crowd begin chanting “LOUIE” WAIT! Louie Spicolli died? HOLY SHIT! THAT’S DEPRESSING! HE WAS AWESOME in the dreamer feud, fuck sake. Heyman grabs the mic and says a company says when your with someone you’re with them for life, but that not true. He says when you are with the family in the ECW arena, every 3 weeks you are with them 4life. So, tonight. He dedicates the show Louie Spicolli :( 10 bell salute RIP!

Joey Styles welcomes us to ECW CyberSlam 1998, he hypes up the Lance/Candido angle. He says Lance is keeping his partner a secret and brings out The Triple Threat who has Sunny with them. Shane says 3 weeks ago, some people got the rug pulled out from under them, a punk who thought he would raise three fingers with the Triple Threat, and a man who thought his belt meant more than his and was dead wrong. He says there's a mystery that needs to be solved, BUT THE FUCKIN’ CROWD CHANT "FRANCINE WILL SUCK DICK FOR CRACK, DOO DAH DOO DAH!" :lmaolmao:lmao Shane says he and Candido will teach Lance a lesion, Candido says it doesn’t matter who he brings. Sunny says she knows who it is, so Candido asks, but she says she's not telling. He asks why she'd even say anything then and she says a mystery should remain that way, and she has secrets that would blow his mind. Candido is mad and doesn't let her leave, so she slaps him. Bam Bam holds Candido back and then Francine and Sunny almost fight, so Bam Bam carries Sunny off to the back.

ECW Television Championship: Brakus (w/Lance Wright) vs. Taz
This happens, it’s about 2 minutes. Brakus is shit but Taz bumps to make it look respectful until he makes good on his promise by stretching, him them beating the shit out of him and ending it with the Tazmission.

Still images recap the Dreamer/Credible ~ First Blood Match.

Tommy Dreamer is in a pitch black room, and lights a candle he says ever action has a reaction. Beulah is a strong independent woman. So he supports everyone of her decisions as long as they don’t conflict with his, he Justin wanted to be a star. Well this Sunday, step in the ring wit me. AND I’LL MAKE YOU FAMOUS! He says Beulah felt his darkside, when he Piledrove her and now she’s by his side. Last Sunday she was piledriven by Justin Credible; now this Sunday she’ll see a darker side when she stands in the corner of……JUSTIN CREDIBLE! Wait, what?

Lance Storm vs. Chris Candido
Lance has cut his shitty blonde rat tail, which means he’s not awesome. He comes out the box swinging and super aggressive which is great. He takes the fight right to Candido beating him in and out of the ring, until Candido pokes Lance in the eyes for separation. I have to admit, Candido matches don’t have any selling or tell stories, it’s really cool moves and pandering to the crowd. He never looks desperate to win or even look like he wants to win, which is a shame. So what we get is a very well done back and forth move for move match for about 7-8 minutes, it’s like those tease one on one matches before the PPV. Lance uses Candido's own Blonde Bombshell on him for the win. **1/2 - **3/4

NEW JACK IS IN THE HOOD! He says they’re putting criminals on PPV’s. But unlike Mike Tyson who says he didn’t do it, I say I did it a lot of the times. Got away with it. He says he’s gonna bring the violence, my style, hood style, gangster style. And you gon see violence at its high level. And when it’s done you gonna say New Jack was cut loose and somebody's going down.

All the Taz/Bam Bam stuff air again.

lol go home shows.

RIP! Louie

ECW Living Dangerously
March 1st, 1998
Asbury Park, New Jersey

Taz arrives at the building at night, it's pitch black outside. He walks into this unlocked building and looks around. He then says “I’M READY”

Joey Styles welcomes us to the show.

Full Blooded Italians (w/Tommy Rich) vs. Chris Chetti & Jerry Lynn
I have no idea why this is taking place on PPV, this has 0 build and got 0 air time on Hardcore TV. This happens; it’s not very good or interesting at all. All the moves are crisp and connect clean, but why should I care. Wasn’t Lynn just teaming with Rodgers at the last PPV, and ECW tried to tell me they’ve been teaming a lot. Fuck it, FBI bumps early for the faces, before isolating Chetti. Chetti isn’t a really good bumper or seller. He’s just a wrestler, Lynn does is lucha Lynn hot tag and botches a flapjack double team just by falling onto the FBI, Tommy Rich hits Tracy with the flag and Lynn rolls him up for the win. Meh! *1/2

Joey Styles says we were supposed to get a match between Wing Kanemura and Masato Tanaka, but he hasn’t see Wing all day. So they then roll footage of Wing and Tanaka in FMW.

Doug Furnas comes out with Lance Wright; Lance says he has a plan. He and his associates, the people in Stamford. His buddy Vinny Mac bought out Kanemura’s contract and is keeping him in Japan. So, tonight it will be Doug vs. Masato.

Doug Furnas (w/Lance Wright) vs. Masato Tanaka
This is pretty awful, I can’t even call it a squash. They do some random filler shit for like 3 minutes. Tanaka works a figure four spot for a minute that goes nowhere, then they spend the next minute botching high impact moves, dropping one another on their necks. At one point Doug picks up Tanaka for a powerbomb but he can’t fully get him up so he drops him on his neck, then he German flips him and Tanaka again lands on his neck. Doug goes for the pin, but Lance stops him from going for the cover and I guess he wants more, so Doug hits a ‘rana and again, Lance wants more punishment. They botch a wait spot and Tanaka hits a roaring elbow for the WIN! TERRIBLE! If you’re gonna bring someone in from FMW that has scares all over his body, why book him in a normal wrestling match FUCKIN IDIOTS! After the match; Lance gets on the mic and blames the loss on Doug, he says he owns him and he could be close to being a WWF superstar but when he talks to JR and Bruce that won’t be happy about this loss. Doug goes to leave, but Lance keeps talking shit so Doug punches him, he grabs an ECW t-shirt and puts it on. TERRIBLE ANGLE, TERRIBLE MATCH, AHHHHHHH! Everything is terrible.
Joey Styles we were supposed to have a duelling canes match between Sabu and Sandman tonight, but the PPV companies have told ECW that, that match is too graphic for PPV but it’s okay to air on Hardcore TV :lmao Styles is giving us a run down of the card, when Jason and Nicole come over to him. Jason wants him to roll the tape, Nicole tells him to play the tape no or she’ll kick his ass. Earlier today, Tommy arrives at the building and he’s alone with no Beulah but he has a dog with him :lmao

Rob Van Dam (w/Bill Alfonso) vs. 2 Cold Scorpio
I’m guessing this was RVD “breakout” match like he had a great WWF/ECW feud in 1997 but it was more about the feud then him, this is RVD finally getting it, and would be the formula to RVD TV title run to come later this year. They have a good feeling out process to start, and the mat wrestling is solid. It’s a little sloppy in parts but it allows RVD to show off his amazing flexibility. Scorpio is slowly getting back into the ECW groove, but this is the RVD show. His bumping and selling is amazing, he dies on guard rails sports and even the slip ups of Scorpio he makes it look like it connects. Once they get back in, they begin to pick up the intensity of strikes and viciousness. Some blueberries in the crowd try a “this match sucks” then a “boring” chant. So both men start trading stiff ass kicks, that don’t connect clean and look stiff af. Scorpio kills RVD with a powerbomb and just like the Axl one RVD bumps like he fell off a building :mark: Scorpio begins to get cocky and sucks up to the crowd so he tries and successfully hits flashy move after flashy move but RVD keeps kicking out. RVD manages to fight his way out of a top rope superplex and hits the Frog Splash but he’s too hurt to make a cover and Scorpio is up first. They go back and forth with both hitting moves, but can’t put the other away. They brawl on that shitty ramp walk way and Scorpio doesn't sells the VAN-DAMMINATOR AND hits a spike piledriver. He drags RVD back into the ring, and he seems to be dead weight at the time but he low blows Scorpio. RVD bumps into the ref and he gets taken out, Scorpio then goes for an elbow drop but RVD moves and again the ref takes the blow. RVD comes back with a straight boot and goes for Scorpio’s own 450 but misses, which allows Scorpio to hit another powerbomb and he hits the 450 but the ref is still out. Sabu comes out and hits the Arabian Facebuster with a chair and he pulls RVD on top but only gets a two count. The Sandman comes out and chases Sabu to the back; Scorpio hits a rolling scissors kick. Scorpio goes for it again but RVD counters into a body scissors roll up for the win. This was 20+ minutes, that didn’t need 20 FUCKIN MINUTES! It’s pretty bad, really sloppy, and botchy and filler and a lot of this stuff felt unnecessary. **1/2

After the match; RVD grabs the mic, he says this was a great experience for the both of them, obviously a better one for him. He says him a hell of a match, he then gives him a chance to shake his hand :lmao Scorpio goes to shake but RVD pulls back, Scorpio says he’s more of a man then he will ever be. And he might of got the win tonight, but he’s still better. So he asks for a handshake and they shake. Scorpio says he was the better man tonight and raises RVD’s hands, but clotheslines RVD and puts the boots to him. Sabu runs back down for the save. Sabu brings a table in but Sandman makes the save, he attacks Sabu and hits ‘rana’s him off the top but Sabu’s feet hit the table partially breaking it :lmao Sabu and RVD bail, which leaves Scorpio and Sandman in the ring. Scorpio has the mic again and says he appreciates the fans and their nothing like kicking butt in ECW. And he knows when the going gets tough he knows the Sandman has his back. They drink beer and dance together, Sandman dancing is pretty amazing.

Music video package airs on the Chris Candido/Lance Storm feud.

The Dudley Boyz, along with Big Dick Dudley, Sign Guy Dudley, and Joel Gertner make their way down to the ring. Gertner says Well, well, well. Welfare recipients and homeless vagabonds of Asbury Park, and to the thousands watching him coast to coast. At this time allow him to introduce the masters of the 3-way-dance. In the ring, the silence behind the violence. Sign Guy Dudley, Up next the man that to such liberties with your mother. That he is now recognized as your father in 17 states, BIG DICK DUDLEY! Then there’s me, I’m like milk, I do the body good. And a damn handsome man, the man whose wit is more tongue and cheek than a lesbian orgy Joel “Your girlfriend has me on speed dial because she loves the way I star 69 her” Gertner. Now competing tonight, first getting jiggy with it to his left, straight out the south side of Dudley weighing at 169 pounds D-Von :lmao His brother and his tag partner, weighs in at a Rough and Buff 350 pounds. And he is Pamela E’s new man, THE DUDLYVILLE ICON BUH BUH-RAY DUDLEY!

The Dudley Boyz (w/Joel Gertner, Sign Guy Dudley & Big Dick Dudley) vs. Axl Rotten & Balls Mahoney vs. New Jack & Spike Dudley
This is the usual ECW Tag match fuckery, Dudleyz/Balls, and Axl do their thing for a couple of minutes, Buh Buh kills Axl with a chair shot to the head and Big Dick joins in, they then taunt New Jack by doing his taunt which brings him out and this turns into a violent sceptical with weapons. Everyone pretty much gets split open, immediately and this turns into a 4 on 2 with Axl/Balls/Spike/Jack taking turns beating on the Dudleyz, they brawl into the crowd. New Jack and Spike both hit dives off the balcony putting the Dudleyz through tables. Everyone eventually makes their way back to the ring, and Spike hits a tornado DDT through a table on balls but is broken up by Buh Buh, the Dudleyz then hit 3D on Balls and eliminates him. They again taunt Jack but he and spike nail them with guitar shots and Spike hits the acid drop and Jack follows up with a diving chair drop for the win.

Justin Credible Music Video

Jenna Jameson then comes out, and she is ECW’s new reporter. HOLY SHIT! YOUNG JENNA IS CUM WORTHY! Just comes out with Jason and Nicole Bass, Justin says when you’ve got Beulah on your jock who in the hell needs you. Fair point. Jenna says she was told to interview him and didn’t want to do it anyway; Tommy comes out and MAKES OUT WIT HER! HOLY SHIT! Dreamer with another W :lmao

Justin Credible (w/Jason & Nicole Bass) vs. Tommy Dreamer
Big brawl to start and Credible does the one good thing he’s good at and that bump his ass off. It’s kinda weird, this lacks violence and hatred. It’s just like their going through the moves. So that really hurt the match, you would thing Dreamer would just want to rip his head off and Justin would be running and using dirty heel tactics to keep distance. But instead, it’s back and forth, move for move. Tommy hits the Louie DVD driver, but Jason interrupts the count and credible hit the THAT’S INCREDIBLE! That brings out Beulah, she teases being with Credible but low blows him, she gives one to Jason too and DDT’s him. So Nicole comes in and bear hugs her to death, then loses her top EWWWWWW! Thankfully WWE edited it out. Mikey Whipwreck comes out with his broken leg and stuns him, Credible then breaks a crutch over Mikeys leg. Tommy sends Credible into the corner and he does the HBK corner bump, Dreamer then finishes it with a DDT.

ECW Television Championship: Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Taz
FUCK YEAH! THIS IS GREAT! They waste no time beating the shit out of one another, Bam Bam hits this awesome release powerbomb for two, Taz hits some of the best lariats I’ve ever seen her and for a short man he murders Bam Bam, they fight onto that shitty ramp way and TAZ FUCKIN’ T-NES HIM OFF THE STAGE AND ONTO THE CONCREAT! But Bam Bam is up first and hits Taz with a chair. This is what Credible/Dreamer lacked. Just vicious offense, the ring can’t contain them and the desperation to hurt the other. They brawl through the crowd and back into the ring where Bam Bam hits a DDT and heads up top for the moonsault that barely grazes Taz but he gets a two off it. Bam Bam brings that table SABU broke early into the ring, he sets it up and goes for a powerbomb but Taz counters with a double leg and drops him face first through the table. Taz is slow on the cover and only gets a two, I love that the crowd is 50/50 here; most love Bam Bam because he’s the hometown guy but TAZ IS THAT MOTHERFUCKER! And you love him too. They brawl on the floor and through the crowd again, and back into the ring. Bam Bam goes for greeting from Asbury but Taz slips out and jumps on his back for the TAZMISSION! Bam Bam is tapping but he ref is on the wrong side and can’t see, so Bam Bam either collapse or falls back and they break the ring. AWESOME! Bam Bam slowly crawls out, and Bam Bam drags him out and covers for the win. FUCK YEAH! AWESOME MATCH! After the match; The Triple Threat come out and congratulate him on the match, and they all celebrate. ****

dWEobkn.gif
v8khjn9.gif

Paul Heyman runs over to Joey and begs him to buy him some time. So Joey starts talking, Heyman tells him to air the Sandman/Sabu match that the censors say that can’t air because it was too violent. So they argue over that, in the end, Heyman wins and they show match.

Duelling Cane Match: The Sandman vs. Sabu (w/Bill Alfonso)
Sabu comes out and attacks Sandman, he starts hitting him with the cane but once the Sandman fights back Sabu comes out and attacks him from behind, wait what? HOLY SHIT! The first Sabu was RVD dresses as him AWESOME! Fonzie says Sabu has this under control so he sends RVD to the back, the early portion is pretty great but Sabu/Sandman standards that is. Sandman over bumping is great and Sabu leaping off anything just using his body as a weapon is great too. He places a table on the guard rails and hits a diving splash off the top through the tables. Sabu rolls him in for two, he then hits an Arabian facebuster for another two. He misses the atomic Arabian facebuster with the chair but Sandman is too drunk and concussed so Sabu just covers him for another two :lmao Sabu throws him onto the shitty walkway ramp and hits a DDT, he then hits the triple jump moonsault onto the ramp but Sandman is up first :lmao For some reason the ref is holding a table up, and Sandman whips Sabu into it taking out the ref. Sandman follows up suplexing a table onto Sabu and sets up the table on the walkway. RVD COMES BACK DOWN AND HITS THIS AMAZING RUNNING LEAPING SIDEKICK! He takes out both Sandman and Sabu, he even breaks part of the table :lmao Sabu rolls Sandman back in and RVD hits another leaping sidekick. Ref Jeff Jones comes in to help. RVD hits a five-star frog splash; they then follow up with the leg drop/splash through sandman on the table on the rampway for the win. WAIT THAT WAS TOO VIOLENT TO AIR ON PPV :lmao have they ever seen a New Jack match? **3/4

DiwC8AJ.gif
nTbBER0.gif

Joey Styles tries to pretend he’s upset and fake ranting about showing the match :lmao He then says they have to cancel the Kronus/Al Snow match because they had to fix the ring FUCK YEAH! Wait their attempt at fixing the ring is just putting caution tap on the ropes and have it hover over the hold in the fuckin ring :lmaolmao:lmao

The crowd has Styrofoam heads because the Snow match was supposed to be next, some of the fans throw head into the ring while some just hold it up. Candido grabs the mic and says he curious at who this mysterious partner could be. Only 3 people have ever beaten him up, his grandpa, Bam Bam and his sweet girlfriend at home. Lance comes out and he has Sunny with him :lmaolmao:lmao This is the best Lance could do, in what world did he think this was good. Styles tries to hype it up by saying this is smart as Candido won’t lay a hand on her, and he won’t allow Douglas to do so too. NAW, FAM I AIN’T BUYING IT!

Chris Candido & Shane Douglas (w/Francine) vs. Lance Storm & Sunny
Lance takes the fight to both Shane and Chris, he gets the better and tags in Sunny, they do this awful fake spot when Sunny stops and thinks about hitting Candido just to instead hit Storm with a metal cookie sheet. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! THIS IS YOUR MAIN EVENT? SWERVE! Douglas puts Lance in the camel clutch and Candido begins to talk shit, he says what are you going to give me tonight and Lance yells “HEAAAAAAAD” WOAH! Al Snow and Head come out, Styles tries to play it as Lance knew he was being set up :lmao so this was all pre-planned. Snow comes out and everyone brawls, Snow sends Shane into the hole in the ring then picks him back up and hits the Snowplough for the win. After the match; the crowd throws their heads into the ring.

ECW Hardcore TV: Episode 254
March 2nd, 1998
Asbury Park, New Jersey

The show opens with highlights of the Living Dangerously PPV, voiced over by Paul Heyman.

Backstage: Jenna Jameson is with Paul Heyman, she asks him if he likes Living Dangerously and he says yeah, she tells him to lick the icing off her cake. Heyman says he’s seen too much wrestling as a kid and that cake ain’t going on my face and leaves. Kronus then ruins everything by putting his face in the cake.

Joey announces Sunday May 3rd, ECW returns to PPV with WrestlePalooza at the civic centre in Marietta, Georgia.

Clips air of the Credible/Dreamer first blood match, with Credible hitting the “That’s incredible” on Beulah, they then show the Dreamer promo from last week. Photos then air the Credible/Dreamer match, Heyman again does the voiceover.

They air the Sandman/Sabu match in FULL that was “TOO VIOLENT” for PPV, but is okay for TV

Heyman does voiceover to images of the RVD/2CScorpio

They then air the entire BamBam/Taz angle in full, the same one that aired on the go home show. The Taz arrival at the building, from the PPV. Heyman does voiceovers to still images of the match.

They air the Triple Threat promo from last week with Sunny not giving up who the mystery partner is, Heyman does voiceover to the images of the PPV match.

Paul reads some fuckery letter saying they will not follow others and are forcing Lance and Chris to defend their titles.

The Triple Threat are backstage, Douglas says they are here to apologize. Apologize to Taz, because he spent weeks and weeks telling the world that his TV title meant more than the ECW World tile. Shane says he was gonna be man enough at the end of the night, he was gonna walk up to him and say he was right. But in the end he couldn’t uphold his end of the bargain. He call Bam Bam the Taz KILLA! He says Francine is the only woman that matters, not Jenna Jameson, and talking about Head, Al Snow. This company is not about gimmicks :lmaolmao you may have had your hand held high, and stole my shine but now you’ve walking into no man’s land. He says he needs to find out who the better man is, so he challenges him. WE ARE THE WORLD CHAMPIONZZZZZZ! WE ARE THE TRIPLE THREAT!

Jenna Jameson welcomes us to the show, she says she would like nothing more than to give you a little “HEAD” She then pulls out a Styrofoam head and shakes it around. Al Snow music video airs.

Joey Styles welcomes us to the show, he hypes up the Snow/Douglas match at WrestlePalooza.

ECW Tag Team Championships: The Full Blooded Italians (w/Tommy Rich) vs. Chris Candido & Lance Storm
Chris Candido goes over to the sound guy and demands he stops playing Lance’s music and plays his instead :lmao that pretty AWESOME! This heel/heel dynamic didn’t work at all, the crowd don’t know who the cheer for so in the end they just sit on their hands. Well, I guess Lance is the babyface but seeing how he fell for the Sunny fuckery it’s hard to cheer for someone that dumb. The story of the match is Candido and Storm trying to outdo the other and talk shit to the other, which allows one of the FBI members to counter or set some shit it. That’s great and all, but it just doesn’t work with a comedy heel team. The FBI work on Lance, it’s good. They have some fun double teams; they don’t really pick on a body part instead just do moves. Candido’s hot tag is alright and he Lance get into a shoving match, before hitting a double team flapjack for two. Candido hits a ‘rana off the top but misses the diving headbutt off the top. Tracy hits a straight kick to the face for two, and connects with a flying back elbow for two. The match breaks down and Candido/Storm hit a doomsday device but argue about who will go for the cover, which allows the FBI to intervene. They fight them off and Lance superkicks Tracy into a Candido bridging German for the win. ** - **1/4

2 Cold Scorpio & The Sandman vs. Rob Van Dam & Sabu (w/Bill Alfonso)
This goes about 6 minutes or so, it’s a brawlfest. Just like most big ECW tag matches it’s 2 in and 2 out, RVD/Scorpio and Sabu/Sandman was the pairing the majority of the way. Scorpio hits a running poweslam on Sabu in the ring, as RVD puts Sandman on a table on the floor, Sabu botches the double jump legdrop to Sandman and misses it so he does it again :lmao Back in the ring, RVD hits he leaping side kick and Sabu hits the Arabian Facebuster on sandman for two. RVD goes for the frog splash but Scorpio moves and RVD accidently hits SABU that allows Sandman to cover for two. RVD and Sabu hit a shitty variation of total elimination and Sabu ends it with another face buster off the top with a chair for the win. *1/2

iPLHT0K.gif

Backstage: Bam Bam Bigelow says they call him the beast from the east, and the Taz Killa. That’s why they call me the biggest, that call me the baddest and I AM THE TOUGHEST MOTHERFUCKER that ever stepped in ECW.
