  • Booker vs. Billy Kidman (w/ Torrie) ended in a no contest (the Harris Twins attacked everyone)
  • 3 Count beat Brian Knobbs to win the WCW Hardcore Title (yes, all 3 at once. This is the setup to introduce Al Green as "The Dog" btw)
  • Dustin Rhodes beat Norman Smiley

  • Sid Vicious beat Tank Abbott to retain the WCW World Heavyweight Title

RAW 232

RAW episode 232 took place from the Hersheypark Arena in Hershey, PA and aired on November 3, 1997. It was the go-home show for Survivor Series 1997, where nothing of significance happened. Bret Hart wasn't at this show. Don't worry, he'll definitely be on the fallout RAW.

  • Marc Mero (w/ Sable) beat Savio Vega
  • Vader beat the British Bulldog (w/ Neidhart, Furnas, and LaFon) in a Dog Collar match
  • The New Age Outlaws beat Los Boricuas

SmackDown 232

SmackDown episode 232 took place from the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN and aired on January 22, 2004. Holy shit, it really was from the same venue as the same numbered Nitro. Also, go-home SD for Royal Rumble 2004.
  • Rey Mysterio beat Chuck Palumbo (w/ Nunzio and Stamboli)
  • Tajiri beat Billy Kidman to qualify for the Royal Rumble
  • A-Train beat Shannon Moore to qualify for the Royal Rumble
  • John Cena/Chris Benoit beat Brock Lesnar/Rhyno/Matt Morgan (this was going to be a 2v4 also involving Big Show but he mysteriously had his dressing room door blocked by a forklift. He was freed eventually though. Also Lesnar left this match midway through and was attacked by Hardcore Holly)

Impact 232

Impact episode 232 took place from the Impact Zone and aired on December 4, 2008. It was the go-home show for Final Resolution 2008. Well, one of them. In their infinite wisdom, TNA decided to run two shows called Final Resolution in the year 2008, both at different ends of the year. This was the go-home show for the December Final Resolution. I like it better as a December PPV name than a January PPV anyway.
  • Booker T (w/ Sharmell) beat Samoa Joe to retain the TNA Legends Title (the Beautiful People interfered)
  • AJ Styles/Christy Hemme beat Scott Steiner/Awesome Kong (w/ Rhaka Khan and Raisha)
  • Eric Young/Jay Lethal/Consequences Creed beat Sheik Abdul Bashir/Sonjay Dutt/Jimmy Rave (w/ Val) (Bashir didn't want to compete because the ref was Shane Sewell)

RAW episode 234 took place from the Cornwall Civic Complex in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada and aired on November 17, 1997. This was the show where Vince remarked that "Bret screwed Bret". Also, the night where Rick Rude appeared on RAW and Nitro in one night by the power of pre-taped shows. By the way, turns out Shamrock pinned HBK last week.
  • Jerry Lawler (w/ Brian Christopher) beat Marc Mero (w/ Sable) by DQ (I'm keeping up with Scott Keith's blog for details on these matches, this got minus 2 stars. On to the backlog it goes then)

BONUSMITE!!

Last night's episode of AEW Dynamite is currently the lowest rated of any Dynamite episode on Cagematch, with 4.26/10. While these ratings tend to normalise over the next few days, it's got a significant gap over the previous holder, which has 4.60/10. Let's take a look at that Dynamite card.

Dynamite 99

Dynamite episode 99 took place from the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena in Milwaukee, WI and aired on August 25, 2021.
  • Orange Cassidy beat Matt Hardy
  • The Lucha Bros beat the Varsity Blonds in the first round of an AEW World Tag Team Title eliminator tournament
  • Jamie Hayter beat Red Velvet
  • Jon Moxley/Eddie Kingston/Darby Allin beat The Wingmen (Ryan/JD/Cezar)
  • The Gunn Club beat The Factory (Marshall/Solo/Comoroto)
  • Malakai Black beat Brock Anderson (but was scared of Lee Johnson)
Also on that show was the announcement of Jericho vs. MJF at All Out 2021, a CM Punk promo, and Kenny Omega/Christian Cage build.

Tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite is number 237.

Nitro 237

Nitro episode 237 took place from... well, nowhere, and aired on April 3, 2000. This was the last Nitro before the WCW reboot, and Russo and Bischoff put everyone on break until next week while they work out how to reset the company. There's not even any full matches shown, just Tony Schiavone showing off a bygone era while Mark Madden sucks Russo's cock with every word. Next!

RAW 237

RAW episode 237 took place from the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, ME and aired on December 8, 1997. It was the fallout show from D-Generation X: In Your House.

Tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite is number 238.

Nitro 238

Nitro episode 238 took place from the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO and aired on April 10, 2000. On this episode, Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo showed up together... and rebooted the show! That's what it was called. And all the titles are vacated... so you know what that means! Another tournament! A six-man tournament! Oh, by the way, this was the GO-HOME NITRO for Spring Stampede 2000. Resetting the show the week before the PPV. Genius stuff. Wonder why Nitro's not on TV anymore?
  • Diamond Dallas Page (w/ Kimberly) beat Lex Luger (w/ Elizabeth) in the first round of a WCW World Heavyweight Title tournament (Buff Bagwell distracted Luger)
  • Sting beat Sid Vicious by count-out in the first round of a WCW World Heavyweight Title tournament (The Wall attacked Sid and put him through a table)
  • Jeff Jarrett beat Curt Hennig in the semi-final of a WCW World Heavyweight Title tournament (the debuting Shawn Stasiak, as "PerfectShawn", attacked Hennig)
  • Ric Flair beat Shane Douglas by DQ (Vince Russo attacked Flair)
  • Diamond Dallas Page (w/ Kimberly) beat Sting in the semi-final of a WCW World Heavyweight Title tournament (Vampiro attacked Sting)
So that's five interference spots out of five matches. Again, no idea why this show's not on TV anymore.
