Why not exactly? If he's always mentioned on TV and has a minimum of 2 live appearances a month its fine. Plus he'll bring mainstream exposure whilst managing to be entertaining and make me mark like a bitch when he wins it.

He won't benefit from it agreed but the company will, it's a similar reason I don't care if Orton or Cena win it again either there is logic to it plus I'm a huge Rock mark from being a kid so ill love to see him win it 1 more time.

Why not? Say Rock didn't face Cena but Punk over instead? Or people tuned in to see Rock with the belt, saw Ryback tearing it up and thought wow this guy is awesome... Its all hypothetical admittedly but is more people interested in your product a bad thing?
