From the beginning of the video, the way his face looked, and his posture made it pretty obvious that something is wrong. You can usually tell when someone has down syndrome from their face. I think that punch was completly out of line.

Nah, the guy was right, hate to say it. He was defending his kid which as an emotion takes priority over everything else. It's not like he continued to pummel the guy. He laid his ass out and that was it. Perfectly normal reaction.
