- Terry sent word that after last night’s RAW dark match where Drew McIntyre defeated Chris Masters, McIntyre cut a promo about how he was tired of being overlooked and insulted America. Drew is now calling himself The American Nightmare.

Where do you think Drew will go here? I believe he could portray his Scottish Sinister part in this. If he gets enough promo time on RAW and such I could see this to be a developing push that Drew desperately needs.

You have no idea how much this excites me. I have been a huge McIntyre fan ever since he stopped that stupid feud with Teddy Long. He continues to really develop and is someone that I am keeping an eye out for. That is a bad ass name for him to use, which just fits his character as a bad ass heel. He better make some live appearances soon, because he deserves so much more.

Still liked Vita's idea of making Cody Rhodes known as the American Nightmare. With McIntyre it fits, but at the same time doesn't. Going to be interested how this is executed and I HOPE it involves a push.

I don't think Drew McIntrye will be in the WWE much longer, it looks like they don't have anything real for him. He's been treated like a jobber because they're getting old and stale, and this doesn't sound any refreshing to begin with. It's only a matter of time before they give up here too.

Thing is there have been lots of times, when WWE have started something like this with one of its underused mid-carders, you know when you think finally they are going to do something different and cutting edge to get them over, and then they just drop it after a month. So this is very much wait and see for me.

'The American nightmare'? Sounds like a low budget horror movie, But anyway i hope this means we will see Mcintyre alot more often. He really needs something because the guy has really fell out of the light, Maybe if WWE had some sense they would have Jack Swagger turn into a face and fued with Mcintyre.

Since it was a dark match and segment they were testing the fan reaction. I just want to see McIntyre matter again so I'd be all for giving it a try.

I hope this leads to something because McIntyre is wasted on Superstars. He is another midcarder that has had a stop-start push, after he was endorsed by Vince McMahon on Smackdown I thought that he was going somewhere fast but that wasn't the case.

He does need a gimmick change since his old one was a bit stale and he was always monotone on his delivery. Hopefully he shows some more personality with this gimmick. Shame that WWE don't care about tag teams anymore since that would be a good way to use McIntyre until they choose to give him a singles push.

If you got someone like Bret Hart in your corner, that should mean something. But I guess since he doesn't do fancy flips or swear it means he isn't very good. Even though his matches are not boring, and most are memorable. He should be higher on the card. I blame whoever wrote that lame duck Kelly Kelly infatuation storyline.

He hasn't been given many good storylines. He needs to be put in a feud with another wrestler that lasts longer than a month.

Looking at the RAW roster there aren't that many midcard faces available for him to feud with. The best choice would indeed be Chris Masters who he faced on Superstars.

After he beat the shit out of Matt Hardy, there was nothing else for him. It sucked to see him just be used as a hand instead of being used properly in an angle. That Kelly Kelly stuff was terrible and just killed whatever momentum he had. He should be feuding with Kofi, Dolph, Swagger, Bourne. All of them in in a ladder match at MITB, make it for the IC title, save the contract. It's getting boring, have a title match. Make te IC title look like a focus instead of an accessory.

That would be good if they book it but I doubt it will happen. The IC and US titles have needed a helping hand for years now yet WWE continue to ignore the titles. A proper division fighting to win the title would be the way to do it and all of those you listed would make for a solid division.

Aren't all belts accessories?

In a sense yes, but not to the people who held those titles. Or the fans who believe they still mean something. It only became an accessory when they were passed around like dooby at a Snoop Dogg concert.

For those who think Drew may get released, the guy just turned 26. He has so much promise and may just have to wait a bit more. I really think once Punk leaves, he will start getting on more programming.
