Go out on your Shield is the type of person Drew Gulak has always been and if he were to leave WWE his Match with Bryan is a good love note to leave behind.

Drew Gulak strikes me as the type to request his release given the opportunity. He has a lot more to offer other companies more so than WWE, I'd have to say. But if that were the case, the timing is sort of odd, because it seems like Daniel Bryan is really trying his best to get creative behind him. I guess we'll get more information in the coming days.

Assuming he didn’t ask for it, always blows my mind when certain wrestlers get the boot, while other trash continues to hang on.

Yup, he didn't want to be in the company anymore and honestly I can't blame him. Hopefully he lands in AEW, NWA and Impact. Any of those companies. I wish him good luck in his future. A talented guy he is.

I can see him working some indies once this covid stuff blows over. I do think he’d be a good fit in Impact or NWA tbh, or he could just go back to Evolve.

Either way, I rather see Gulak go to ROH over anything else, since they're bringing the Pure Title back especially. That or just travel around and wrestle at Progress, OTT, CZW, Beyond, PWG and what have you.
