I'm trying to catch up now. On page 49 of 51.

But as of now revealing roles feels kinda like a play to make me vote in the Scums favor. Maybe this is a common play in this game but that's just weird to me and borderline gamebreaking.

Because let me paint this picture, and you're right in away. But me calling it out might be what saves me.

But when D1 ended I figured one of the two strongest players would die.. by strongest I don't mean this exact game, I just meant mafia. That's Chris or Jeff. So I asked myself which was the most likely. So I picked Chris, and me having the doctor role means either 1. I made the right choice, and protected Chris, or 2. They didn't try killing anyone in the middle of the night.

But me being town, and being doctor who protects a player, then there has to be ways for scum to kill during the night. Now where it puts my life at risk, they know now I can protect a player at night, they might take me out tonight to stop it.

You didn't have to out yourself blaze bc yeah you're probably for sure getting offed tonight without anything we can do about it lol ask if you can self target

But yeah I assume they tried to kill me and I was hoping a doc would work it out too lol

As soon as I saw these posts I felt like this feels like Scum activity.

I understand. Jean is scum that I think is lying tho and even he didn't commit to it to try and defend himself, I think bc he knows it's far fetched. He saw bus driver as best play for a reason

And it seems I can't convince you otherwise and you havent let it go at all since today started lol

Okay everyone else, sadly one of you is scum so you won't listen, but to the other townies. Jean is copped scum lying about being bus driver, I think we should vote for him

In catching up I failed to notice Jean flat out saying "I'm scum."

He didn't flat out say it but I used my role to see his alignment and it came back scum. He didn't even dispute the fact that I did that so I would think between the experienced players acting like it's common play that could be deduced as such by you guys. He did entertain that we were making it up I won't deny that but overall he did say it was unlikely and said his his drive to Brett meant brett was scum and voted Brett. So that's why from my POV it's either Jean is lying and he's scum or he's telling the truth (very unlikely bc bus driver role is crazy in this game) and Brett is scum which if so, town Jean is saying so himself is most likely bc if he actually is telling the truth (again unlikely) those were his thoughts.

So first decide if you believe Jean at all and then go from there I think is best choice of action for tackling the next parts

I get you're experienced. But it's still kinda gamebreaking to me to just out yourself in a role to save you.

Maybe Barry was right to assume Blaze, and then Chris was his cohort?

But then again maybe it IS Jean and Brett. or hell Jean and Booty even. I feel like voting Jean off the Island is the smart play if you feel like it's Jean/someone else as his posts may make you think that. I'm unwilling to automatically jump on that bandwagon.

Also, Why did you want to get the vote done super early? We got 24 hours you wanted it done in less than 12. Sorry I worked 6AM-445PM and just got home can't vote right away.

Bc let's just say blaze and I are lying, what are the odds that we picked on Jean to fake the Mafia thing and he actually is bus driver? Very low. If we actually were pulling this play he'd have never claimed bus driver he'd have just said "what the fuck, I'm vanilla town so they have to be lying" bc that's more likely than there being a bus driver in this game.

He didn't do that so some how me and blaze picked on the one townie who actually had an out instead of one that would just have to say we were lying? That's so unlikely.

I'm being this forceful bc I'm so confidence I'm right bc I KNOW I'm the cop so obviously that makes me believe Blaze too, I don't have to suspect he's lying bc that's batshit if I already know I'm telling the truth, I do get how it's different for you guys bc you have to believe both of us where I only have to believe blaze. But this seems so logically sound to me that Jean is just lying. I am sadly unsure if his partner bc of how he threw out Brett's name but I'll work on that. It's really just Brett or troop I think, I'm just stuck on it

I've been trying to explain why you should believe me. It's a very illogical lie, Jean even said so himself and he's the guy I copped scum

It should only be 12 hours imo 24 hour night seems nuts

Day 1 nights are usually 24 and the rest 12 but we also usually do free posting during night so discussion doesn't have to stop. I dont mind that break tho

Also just to reiterate, and I know this relies on you actually believing me but if you do, I am the cop. If you trust me and Jean flips scum tonight. Blaze can protect me and I can cop someone else tonight and we can figure this out tomorrow with extra info not just speculating like we are now

Like to not believe me you have to actually believe Jean is bus driver and I know you guys don't know the roles and stuff not that would be insane to have instead of and doc and cop which is very traditional. When I played irl Mafia they were the only two roles
