WWF World Champion: Randy Savage-27/3/88
WWF Intercontinental Champion: Honky Tonk Man-13/6/87
WWF Tag Team Champions: Demolition-27/3/88

WWF Wrestling Challenge
July 3rd, 1988
Fresno, CA

Match#1 Brutus Beefcake vs Stephen DeLone

Brutus does horrible wrestling for 2 minutes as Hogan and Vince are going to shove this son of a bitch onto TV until he finally runs off with his shadow in 93. HATE him so much. He wins with his lame ass Sleeper.
1/2*

Post match, the haircut happens.

WWF Update-
-Replay of the one from Superstars about Race.

Match#2 Ted DiBiase w/Virgil vs SD Jones
Shorter one for Ted this week at about 80 seconds, but for the best when he's facing SD Jones of all people. Ted beats him up in fine form, but not killing himself because it doesn't matter at all. He wins with the MDD.
*

Post match, he shoves some cash in SD's mouth.

Match#3 Koko B Ware vs Larry Simpson
Koko also gets shafted at a minute in a horrible call when Brutus got two. He gets it on the board with a speedy beating, but he deserves better. He wins with the Ghostbuster.
*

WWF Events Center-
-Randy says he needs to be hungrier than the challengers and he's ready for anyone and everyone from Ted to Roberts, he's gotta be ready at all times. He's going to a higher gear with the madness hotter than ever before and it's going to roll. Yeah,
-Muraco is still sad.

Match#4 Honky Tonk Man w/Jimmy Hart vs Jerry Allen
HTM also gets 90 seconds as this episode is weird with times for no real reason. This isn't much as he stalls and stooges in between doing some lazy stuff because he's actually a clown for the most part. He wins with the SRR.
3/4*

WWF Events Center-
-Hacksaw says it's been a hard road but he's overcome some huge odds in Andre. He laid him out and stood tall with his thumb up in the air, and he might do it again, tough guy.
-Fuji says he wants Demo to make people suffer, scream and cry. Now Martel knows how it feels. Smash says he cripples people because they don't come back, so come on down and get crippled. Ax says they hurt Patera and Martel, and if you wanna get hurt than fight us.

Match#5 The Rockers vs Terry Gibbs & The Conquistador.
Rockers actually get 3 minutes and all is right in the world of the WWF for once. Loads of smooth speed based offence like those stunning dropkicks and massive arm drags, and it's such a wonderful time to behold as the boys are so damn good. They throw some mean looking punches as well, so there's nothing bad they do. Shawn wins with a flying Fist Drop.
**

The Brother Love Show-
-Brothers and Sister do not think that Brother Love is the only person in this big world that loves you. Ted DiBiase loves you, too. He has made it possible to let him continue to spread the world of L O V E, Big Boss Man & Slick are the guests, and Slick dances as he walks on the stage.
-Love says it takes a special man to spread the word of love, and Slick says homeboy is telling the truth. Boss Man is a former prison guard and it was difficult to spread the word of love behind steel bars to those who have gone astray. Its like when you were bad and your parents took a wrench to you to give you a whipping because they love you. Boss Man might have been hard on some of some of them, but hard love is better than no love at all.
-Slick says he's here to pronounce justice to the ruthless wrestlers in the WWF, and the sentence is hard labour. Brother says love comes in all shapes and sizes and everyone know he loves us.

Match#6 Jake Roberts vs Mike Sharpe
Jake gets 2 minutes against the best wrestler ever, and it's good as he's still angry and mad and takes it out on Mike with a solid beating. Jake wins with the DDT
*3/4

Match#7 Bad News Brown vs Louie Spicolli

Short mauling for News as he hurts our little Louie like a big bully. News has a cut in saying fans have asked him to show mercy to cockroaches, but he never shows mercy to anyone. News wins with the Blaster.
*1/2

WWF Events Center-
-Hammer laughs about ending SBG and hopes he never sees him again. Don did this to himself by attacking him from behind, so he took care of this and now the hammer will put Don down.

WWF Superstars of Wrestling
July 9th, 1988
Glens Falls, NY

Tonight; A King is crowned. Randy Savage is interviewed.

We go to the ring where Bobby Heenan and every heel is standing by. Bobby introduces the new king of the WWF... KING HAKU. FUCK YEAH NOW THAT'S A KING. He comes out to the ring be lead by a little person holding the crown, and all the heels clap for him. Haku lets out a big smile and waves to his crowd and takes a seat on his new throne
image-118.jpeg

Bobby says the WWF once had a king who stood for courage and loyalty and all that wrestling is about, but a dark day has befallen them with Race laying in his sick bed thanks to Hulk Hogan. Hogan has showed NO remorse for what he did, so it's time for the passing of the throne. Bobby calls Haku a gentlemen, and Vince can't stop laughing about it. Bobby calls him honest and a man who partakes in fair play and sportsmanship and a keen love of his fellow man. Heenan gets the fans to stand up for a moment of silence for the crowning of the new king and henceforth will be known as King Haku. Bobby places the crown on his head and Haku looks like the baddest and scariest motherfucker to ever live.
1344b2a795906eb166bc311ce8a43134d1058181-KING-HAKU-640x480.webp

All the heels cheer him on as Bobby puts the robe on him and parades him around the ring and shouts long live the king. Haku is placed on a support board and carried out by some jobbers as all the heels follow him. AMAZING Angle.

Match#1 The British Bulldogs vs Gino Carobella & Dusty Wolfe
Only a minute so nothing to write home about, sadly. The dogs win with the Rocket Launcher.
3/4*

WWF Events Center-
-Sean runs down tonight's show in Boston.
-Randy says the time has come short as it's gone out of the hour glass. He's got a date with Ted and his ugly bodyguard, so bring some money to pay for it. This is going to cost him big time because he's got the heart to fight him all the way. Yeah, dig it.
-Rude says Jake's old lady wants him in the wort way, and it's eating Jake up inside. He can't beat him, and he's going to hurt him bad tonight.
-Steele and Mine enjoy the ice cream bars.

Match#2 The Big Boss Man w/Slick vs Mario Mancini
Also a little over a minute, but still fun as Boss Man lays into the kid and beats the shit out of him like he's in an episode of OZ. He even breaks out a gross big boot for something new, and wreaks the kid. Boss has a cut in saying he's going to serve pain. He wins with the Boss Man Slam.
*

Post match, he cuffs Mario to the ropes and beats him with his stick.

Match#3 Junkyard Dog vs Glenn Kruger
Terrible stuff from JYD as he's still here for unknown reasons. THUMP does it.
1/7*

WWF Events Center-
-Don says words about Hammer.
-Ted says Randy needs to bask in his glory as it will be short lived as that title will be around his waist. Randy has been saved time and time again, but when he steps in the ring with him he's afraid because he know he's met his match, Ted will own him and that belt.

In a pre-tape, HF say Jimmy has told the world they couldn't do anything without him, well Bret is now on the front cover of the WWF Magazine, so eat it.

Match#4 Greg Valentine w/Jimmy Hart vs Omar Atlas
Greg gets us back on track with another fun squash in the best year he's had since 85. loads of hard shots and knee work to be found, and then his wins with an assisted Figure Four.
*3/4

Stage Interview-
-Randy & Elizabeth are the guest.
-Ohhhhhh yeah, Randy is ready for anyone. Big, tall, got money or no money. He's keeps talking, but Andre & Heenan walk out and stand at the bottom of the stage as Randy says Macho Madness has him surrounded. TED RUNS OUT OF NOWHERE AND PUNCHES RANDY IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD TO SEND HIM FLYING OFF THE STAGE TO THE FLOOR. Andre picks him up by the hair and holds him for Ted to kick and punch at. Virgil holds Liz and makes her watch as the heels kick the complete shit out of Savage. ANDRE PICKS HIM UP AND CHOKES HIM OUT COLD AND DROPS HIM ON THE CONCRETE SO TED CAN PUNCH HIM SOME MORE. ANDRE DOWS IT AGAIN, AND TED HITS RANDY IN THE HEAD WITH THE TITLE. THEY PICK HIM UP AND THROW BACK ON THE STAGE AT LIZ'S FEET. They all leave as Liz cries over Randy. INCREDIBLE ANGLE.

Match#5 The Bolsheviks w/Slick vs Rusty Riddle & Scott Colontonio
The Russians get 3 minutes so Vince and Jesse can argue about the attack on Randy, and it works because the banter makes perfect sense from both sides and makes me incredibly excited for the eventual Randy/Andre match. Nik wins with a knee off the top rope.
1/2*

Match#6 Brutus Beefcake vs Tommy Angel

This is backdrop for Craig being backstage where he says there is no word on Randy's condition backstage, but he says they don't call him Macho for nothing. Vince and Jesse both agree he can come back from this, and there might be serious hell to pay. Brutus wins with the Sleeper.
1/3*

Post match, haircut bullshit happens.

WWF Events Center-
-The Rockers say it ain't easy being them because it's a lifestyle of a lot of work (and drugs) and they're making the climb to the tag titles. Get ready Demolition, here we come.
-Jake talks about not having fun again as he's not coming up with anything new for these promo, and it's hit a wall of boring at this point.

Next week. POP Debuts.

WWF Boston Gardens-9/7

Match#1 The Big Boss Man vs Sam Houston
Boss Man gets 7 minutes in his first big live event against an actual good wrestler. Sam shows heart as he runs right at Boss and works the arm to try and get him down, but he gets thrown around by the big man and takes some sweet bumps as a result. Boss knocks him around and kicks his ass with a running knee and some nice offence, and you can see it all coming together as it goes on. We get a close up of Sam's now bloody mouth, and Boss hurls him to the concrete floor like a giant asshole bully would do, and it rocks. He beats the hell out of him, but Sam shows more heart and fights back with punches and elbows and gives the big fucker the best he's got. He comes off the top with a John Woo dropkick in 1988 and nearly beats him, but Boss hotshots him and hits a nasty sitout backbreaker to win.
**

Post match, Boss cuffs him to the ropes and beats him in the rubs with the stick.

Match#2 Don Muraco vs Greg Valentine w/Jimmy Hart
Don jumps him and beats him up as he's fired up and given some new life in this feud, and it's a great thing to see from a guy i've liked a lot as this review has gone on. Hammer bails to the floor so Jimmy can adjust the shin guard, and Hammer gets back in and chops and punches at him, and it turns into a fun back and forth. Don attacks the shoulder with the post as he slams it against it a couple of times, and then hits a shoulderbreaker to mess it up worse, and Greg's selling is fantastic as hell. Don sticks the arm between his legs and falls backwards to send it towards him in a truly brutal moment. Greg gets back up and baits him into a fight, but Don kicks his ass in that as well, and Greg takes another beating. He finally gets a knee up when Don runs at him and catches him in the ribs, and he goes on the attack with elbows to the head and beats his face in, in classic old man Hammer style. He moves to the leg and destroys is with the apron for help, and Don's selling is very good in return for the earlier arm work. Don claws at his eyes when he tries the figure four, and then get a near fall off a rollup when he tries it again. Greg cuts him off again with a headbutt to the balls, and goes back to wreaking the knee as Don fights like hell to get away from him. Don finally gets free and hits the Tombstone, but Hart distracts him, and Greg gets the megaphone and hits him in the back of the head to steal the win.
**3/4

Greg attacks him after the match, but Don kicks him away and gets a cane and chases him off.

Match#3 The Rockers vs The Conquistadors
The masked goons slow it down right away and control the kids, but they get too cocky and get their asses kicked as the Rockers use speed to get the best of them as they send them flying over the ring. They hit deep armdrags, and Marty holds them both in place so Shawn can hit a dropkick to their backs as Marty drags them across his body with his legs in a sick as hell move. Shawn hits a running splash on the arm and has some awesome work, and it's a reminder that he's far better at a lot of stuff than he ever really got credit for when he changed his style in the 90's.. The goons knee Marty in the back through the ropes, and beat him up with a fine basic control seg from their end, but it's Marty who gets to show off his selling and bumps as he bounces and gets his ass handed to him. He knocks one to the floor, but the other switches places so they can stay on the attack, and Marty is beaten down and his back is worked on. He takes a HUGE backdrop to get a ton of hang time before he dies on the mat. He finally fights them off and gets Shawn in there for a sweet hot tag as he's all fired up and beat the heck out of them with amazing looking punches and huge dropkicks. He nails the flying Fistdrop, but masked goon saves and they try to double team but they fuck it up, and the Rockers fight them off and Shawn hits a gorgeous crossbody off the top to win.
**3/4

Match#4 Randy Savage (c) w/Miss Elizabeth vs Ted DiBiase w/Virgil (WWF World Heavyweight Championship)

Randy is wearing a neck-brace as a result of the attack, and he rushes Ted before the bell rings and beat the fuck out of him as he's angrier than ever before. He pinballs him over and over and takes his face off with a running knee, and poses on the top with his glasses and title on and still looks like the coolest man to ever live. He grabs the mic and shouts oh yeah! He stays on the attack and sends Ted down, but he takes too long one too many times, so Ted can grab his tights and throw him to the hardwood floor and drop him throat first on the rails. He gets him back in and lays in wicked shots to the neck and crushes Randy's body with everyone of them, and Savage's sellinng kicks a ton of ass as his energy is zapped and the body is now failing him as Ted smokes him. DiBiase locks in a sleeper and shakes his head back and forth and strangles him, and Savage's selling is once again next level. Randy fights out and drops him, but he's too hurt to do anything, so they both get back and have a sweet slugfest, and Savage moves ahead as he drops Ted on the ropes and beats the crap out of him. Ted is knocked over the ropes and he takes a head on the apron, and then is hit with the Ax Handle to drop him again. Virgil gets up to help, but Randy grabs him and Ted runs into him and knocks him to the floor. Randy runs at him, BUT TED MOVES AND RANDY RUNS THROAT FIRST INTO THE BUCKLES AND SLUMPS OVER BADLY HURT. DiBiase now attacks the throat and neck with elbows and rips the brace off as he jerks Randy's head up like a complete bastard. He batters poor Savage with the ropes as he chokes him with them, AND HE DISTRACTS THE REF SO VIRGIL CAN HIT RANDY IN THE FACE WITH A WOODEN CHAIR. GOODDAMN IT. RANDY KICKS OUT THOUGH,. Ted picks him up and Randy brings down for a cradle, so Virgil attacks for the DQ.
***1/4

The heels beat him down until the refs get them out of there. Randy gets back up and freaks out and gives chase to them, and Liz walks to the back with the title in hand. This feud is perfect.

Match#5 Rick Rude vs Jake Roberts
Jake works the head and teases the DDT, and Rude runs away and gets in control and does his very good stuff and even ties Jake's arm in the ropes and attacks it for something new in a feud that's needed a little spark when it comes to the matches. Rude uses it drag him down to the mat and grinds his knee with all his weight down on it, and Jake screams in pain and tries to get free, but Rude is able to keep him down for a good while and gets very far with it. Jake gets to a knee and starts throwing punches to get out, but Rude kicks him in the face to knock the shit out of him, and beats him up even worse and grabs the arm once again. Jake survives it and grabs Rude by the tights to send him to the floor and beats the crap out of him with knees and punches, and Rude bumps like a madman for him. JAKE HITS THE DDT, BUT RUDE PULLS HEBNER UNDERNEATH HIM BEFORE HE LANDS AND HE CRUSHES HIM. Rude is dead along with the ref, and Jake checks on Hebner, and Rude is able to get up and nail the RA and goes for the pin, but Jake gets his feet on the ropes. Rude tries to jump on his knee, but Jake moves it and kicks Rude in the ass and gets a rollup to win.
**3/4

Post match, Rude yells at the ref, and Jake gets Damien and runs Rude off.

WWF Wrestling Challenge
July 10th, 1988
Binghamton, NY

Match#1 The British Bulldogs vs Terry Gibbs & Tommy Angel

Two minutes this time so Davey gets to do awesome shit for the majority of it, and looks like a killer power dude once more and i can't wait for his return in 90/1. DK now has a bad haircut and looks terrible. He does beat some people up, but it's all Davey saving it. DK wins with a Superplex.
*3/4

WWF Update-
-Craig covets the injury of Martel at the hands of Demo, but i'm covering that next so we shall wait.

Match#2 One Man Gang w/Slick vs Carmine Surace
Woooo, OMG now gets 2 minutes after getting fucked for time as of late, so he makes up for it with a killer series of clubs, elbows and fat man smothering for the entire thing. Gang wins with the 747.
**

WWF Events Center-
-Bad News says he takes it all and takes no prisoners and fears no man. If he ever decides to have kids that's how he's going to raise them to be. He wants them to be tough like him.
-Hacksaw talks about how hard things have been as of late, but he's not backing down from anyone.

Match#3 The Ultimate Warrior vs Curtis Thompson
Fine Warrior squash as someone has told him to keep it simple and not throw punches if he can help it, so it's him throwing a guy like a sack of spuds for 90 seconds. He wins with the Combo.
*

JYD enjoys the ice cream bar. You do not need that, you fat bastard.

Match#4 Ron Bass vs Brian Costello
Hey, Bass is back after a few weeks away. Good squash as he punches people unlike Warrior can, and lays the poor fella out on the mat and just beat him like a dog for 2 minutes. Wish he would get another feud, but that might be a bad wish if i'm remembering things correctly. Bass wins with his Pedigree.
**

Post match, he attacks the kid and chokes him.

WWF Events Center-
-Sean says everything heats up in the summer for the WWF.
-The Killer Bees are very mad at what the Rougeau's did to them on Superstars, and for pretending to love America. Blair says they're going to sting them black and blue.
-Steele says MINE as he pats his toy and says it's squeezable.

Match#5 The Hart Foundation vs Tommy Ulysses & Scott Colontonio
HF have updated their tights to a much brighter pink in a killer choice. Awesome 3 minutes of Anvil crushing and throwing people around, and Bret being amazing in every aspect of all he does. Jimmy has a cut in taking credit for Bret being on the magazine and says he's so proud of him for this. HF keeps beating them to death and win with the Hart Attack.
**

The Brother Love Show-
-Love is special and something that should be shared, and he shares his love to us for that reason. He tells us he loves each and everyone of us. He brings on Rude and Bobby as his guests for this week as men who share their love.
-Love says Jake's wife is only pretending to not what he is love, and Rude confirms that to be true as he wanted to give her the love she wanted. Jake's jealously stopped that and denied a lifetime of wild fantasies and sweet memories of him.
-Love presents a woman as a gift for Rick Rude as Bobby makes sure she's not an immoral dog, and Love confirms she's not and she's all for Rick. Rude kisses her as Brother shouts "HE LOVES HER JUST LIKE BROTHER LOVE LOVES YOU. I LOOOOOOVE YOU"
-Holy shit, this is the best.

Match#6 Don Muraco vs Steve Lombardi
Two minutes for Don as his new motivated streak continues with a fun squash of Lombardi with all the hard and sick looking offence he's been holding back on for months and months. Don wins with the Tombstone.
*3/4

Match#7 The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers vs Lanny Poffo & Reno Riggins

They also get 3 minutes as WWF's tag division is truly coming to life in the last few weeks. They're again stupidly smooth as everything has a snap on it, and now combined with the heel antics it's working tremendously. They kill a jobber with the Doomsday Senton, and step over his body after they win.

Demolition (c) w/Mr Fuji vs Strike Force (WWF World Tag Team Championships-Prime Time Wrestling-11/7)
One last time. Martel is on fire as he takes the brawling right to Ax, but he gets punched in the mouth and clubbed into the mat over and over. Ax picks him up for a crossbody, but Tito dropkicks the big man down and takes out Smash! Martel attacks Ax's arm and Tito joins in, and Gorilla starts talking about how people at home will never know how strong Ax actually is to do the things he does. He proves that as he muscles Martel all the way back to his corner for Smash to beat on him, but Martel attacks his arm as well in super fired up fashion. Tito gets in and keeps in control, but Fuji hits him with his cane across the back and demands the boys murder him, and they do just that as they club and bash the living hell out of him like no one else can possibly do. Tito's selling is amazing as he's doubled over in pain and letting out big screams and groans when he gets hit with a bomb. He nails the Forearm out of nowhere to drop Ax, but he's dead and can't do anything about it, so he crawls to the corner and just manages to tag Martel in for a motherfucker of a hot tag. He sends them flying with dropkicks and massive punches and chops, and even backdrops Ax. He gets the Crab on, but Smash lariats him in the back of the head and sends him to the floor. SMASH GETS A CHAIR AND HITS MARTEL IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD AND HE CALLS AX OVER AND THEY HIT THE DECAPITATION OFF THE APRON TO THE FLOOR. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST, HE'S BROKEN IN HALF. The ref finally turns around and counts a very dead Martel out.
***

Tito tends to Rick and helps to load him on a gurney, and he's taken to the back. This was done as Martel's wife was very ill and he requested time away to look after her, so Strike Force is done for now for the noblest of reasons.

WWF LA SPORTS ARENA-15/7

A full show in LA, Hell yeah man.

Match#1 The Big Boss Man vs Scott Casey
SBG is sad that Boss Man has turned against the law and gone bad. Clearly he doesn't know ACAB, and this is another case of that. This is an extended Boss man squash at about 7 minutes and it's not bad as he hits hard and does some arm work, but it's too long to get a point across that could have been done in 3 minutes and change. He hits a truly ugly Boss Man slam to win.
*1/2

Post match, he cuffs him to the ropes and beats him with the stick.

Match#2 The Rockers vs The Conquistadors
"From somewhere in Latin America, the Conquistadors" is maybe my new favourite intro. Like the last match, the goofs try to bully them around so the Rockers run at a breakneck speed and smoke them as the crowd gets hotter and hotter as they do it. Jesse storms down to the ring and joins commentary as he's mad at not being on the show, so he sits down and banters with SBG about stealing his act and how he has more hair than him. One of the goons cuts Shawn off with a punch to the mouth and beats him down, and the future HBK shows off his selling and bumping throughout. It goes too long though at nearly 5 minutes when the heels don't have the juice for all of that, but Shawn's bumping at least rules enough to make it an ok thing to watch. Marty gets the hot tag to bring life to it with his amazing dropkicks and arm drags. They clean house and Shawn hits a Fistdrop for Marty to make the pin.
**

Match#3 Andre The Giant vs Hacksaw Jim Duggan
SBG does a very good job of explaining that Andre is still a monster that he faced years ago, and even more dangerous with an attitude change. Andre refuses to engage until the board is given to the ring announcer, and then he stalls some more just to do it. He grabs Hack from behind and chokes him with his gigantic hands that cover his entire throat, and then he headbutts him in the jaw. He beats the life out of him with nasty chops and even bites him in the neck. I love old man Andre so much. He controls for another few minutes and gets meaner as it goes on. Hack tries to fight out a few times, but Andre cuts him off and beats him even worse. Duggan finally bites his nose to get out, and Andre sells his nose. AMAZING. Hack punches him in the face and nails the 3 Point to knock him down into the corner and then another one to finally knock him down. He goes to jump on him but Andre punches him in the face like a cartoon character and then kills him with a boot and puts his feet on the ropes to win.
**3/4

Post match, Andre taunts the crowd by sticking his thumb up, so Hacksaw hits him with his board to run him off.

In the back, Jake says it's easy for people to watch at home and not get in the ring and put everything down. He likes to be in the middle of it but this is personal and cold and should have never happened. It's time for Rude to pay for what he did.

In the back, Rude demands to have his music playing at all times because he likes it. The fact of the matter is, Jake is obsessed with him because he knows his old lady wants him and he can't do anything about it. The whole country knows it because he's ravishing and Jake is a snake. He's going to make quick work of him and do LA the ravishing way,

Match#4 Bobby Heenan vs The Ultimate Warrior (Weasel Suit Match)
Bobby is amazing right away by refusing to get in and telling the ref he doesn't give a shit about fighting him. He keeps running away to make the big moron chase him, and then gets his butt kicked in another tremendous display of insane bumping. He manages to punch Warrior in the throat with a hidden object a few times and it's fun watching the big man gasp for air every time Bobby smacks him. Warrior no sells it and beats the hell out of him (and hurts Bobby's neck again) and ends up beating him with a sleeper.
*

Post match, Bobby is placed in the suit and throws a tantrum.

Match#5 Bad News Brown vs Jim Neidhart
Anvil starts a massive fight with the big fella and hits a dropkick right to the mouth and beats his ass, and News runs away to the aisle to take a powder. He comes back in and Anvil stays on him in a fun wildman beating, and it's nice to see him getting loose as a singles guy now that Bret is getting the chance as well. News moves out of the way of an elbow drop and jumps on Anvil and kicks his butt in a fun control seg. He shows off his power and speed as he drops him a few times and looks very good in the process. Anvil gets turned inside out with a nasty lariat, and gets his ass kicked right after in a bad night for the laughing man. News bashes him down but can't put him away, and the big man is able to fight back and kick the shit out of News to send him all over the place. They fight on the outside and ram each other into the post to knock each other silly, and when they get back in the ring News hits the Blaster out of nowhere to win.
**1/2

Match#6 Rick Rude vs Jake Roberts

Jake chases after him and beats his ribs with a gustbuster to send him to the floor, and it's nice to see them changing things up when it's been a bit of the same as of late, Rude gets back in and attacks Jake's ribs now with the sick body blows, and they have a really back and forth of hard shots and hate. Rude takes over and works a sleeper again and it goes the way it always does, sadly. it's good, but man am i over the same stuff. Jake fights back and it's good as always, but he's also prone to not doing anything new, so yeah fuck it. They fight on the outside and Rude throws Damien on the ground so Jake's goes after it, and Rude rolls in to win by countout.

To start the show, Jesse is wearing a hat that says "I'm not bald, It's a solar panel for a sex machine"

Match#1 The Powers of Pain vs Tony Ulysses & Iron Mike Sharpe
Fuji and Slick watch POP's debut from the aisle, and Fuji takes photos of it. This rules as they use their freakish strength to beat the holy hell out of my guy and this poor other joker for 2 minutes. Tons of fun power moves and good looking strikes, so i'm a fan already. Barb wins with his amazing Flying Headbutt.
**

WWF Update-
-Lord Hayes covers the attack on Savage last week.
-Randy has challenged Ted and Andre to a tag team match with a partner of Randy's choosing.
-FUCK YES,

Match#2 Dino Bravo w/Frenchy vs Tony Park
Dino is used a backdrop for Vince and Jesse to talk about the tag match, and also talk about the weightlifting stuff for the 500th time. Bad lame squash from the goofball, and he wins with his crumby Sidewalk Slam.
DPW going out of business and making me sad.

Match#3 The Faboulos Rougeau Brothers vs Chris Duffy & Scott Colontonio

Hell yeah, they get minutes to make up for Bravo being here, and my goodness does it rule again. The Bees have a cut in swearing revenge and a bad case of the hives. The Brothers break out some new cool stuff like flying back elbows and knees mixed with their other fantastic stuff, and it's a blast. Jesse goes on a rant that no referee can be trusted for the tag match as they all have controversy behind them, so something might need to be done. The Brothers win with the Doomsday Senton.
**

Post match, they kill the other jobber with a dropkick.

WWF Events Center-
-Brutus talks about his never-ending feud with HTM. He's got George Steele off camera to be in his corner to counteract Jimmy.
-DiBiase laughs about paying off Andre and Brain to attack Randy from behind so he could Pearl Harbour him. He laughs and shouts he owns him now.

Match#4 Jake Roberts vs Bob Emery
Jake also gets 3 minutes after a few months of 90 seconds in a nice change. Lots of arm work and angry offence as we see his wife watching on from the crowd, and it seems to make him more brutal in a cool little thing. Jake takes the kids head off with a short arm Lariat and then hits the DDT to win.
**

Post match, Damien comes out to play.

WWF Events Center-
-The next Boston show will have Demolition vs Bulldogs in a non title match.
-Fuji says his men are big and not mangy mutts. Smash says they won't get a chance to ever get a title match when they get done with them. Ax says it's sick they ask a dog for advice on how to win a match. All they need is two fists.
-Bobby says there is no one as big as Andre, so no one could pick him in a Lumberjack Match. Andre says a very mad giant has been woken up and Duggan will pay for it. Andre raises his fist and says he has his own 2x4 right here, so watch out.

WWF SUMMERSLAM IS COMING AUGUST 29TH AT MSG.

Match#5 Ted DiBiase w/Virgil, Bobby Heenan & Andre The Giant vs Larry Stevens
Ted gets 2 minutes now and bashes the fuck out of the kid in another super violent squash in a series of killer ones as of late. He lays in every shot and shit cans the kid to the floor and slams him on it, and just batters him as his seconds all laugh and cheer him on. Ted wins with the MDD.
**

Post match, Ted shoves the money down the kids mouth as Jesse says he would rather this than meet Damien. I agree.

Stage Interview
-Don Muraco is our guest this week.
-They talk about SBG being hurt, and he gets mad and sad about this happening because he would be here if he could be by his side. Hammer put him back in hospital for more pain, and the dark hand of vengeance is coming for Valentine. Don says SBG will walk again and he will help him reach the top so they can walk tall and march again.

Match#6 Bad News Brown vs Carmine Surace
Only 60 seconds this time, but he puts out a gross beating in spite of that because he's the best. He wins with the Blaster,
*

Post match, he punches him a few times.

Big Bioss Man is back in the jail where he says he's only judge and jury, and if need be he's the only executioner.

Match#7 The Rockers vs Steve Lombardi & Terry Gibbs
The boys get 4 minutes so Vince and Jesse can gush over how amazing they are, and well so they can show that by doing a million cool and wild things that blow everyone's minds as they've upped the in ring style in less than a month of being here. We get a cut in of fans talking about how much they love them, and how wicked hot they are. I'm sure Shawn and Marty didn't attempt to find any of the girls in that video. They get more and more insane with double teams, and Shawn wins with his super pretty top rope Crossbody.
**

WWF Events Center-
-Hart Foundation vs Rougeau's will happen in Boston.
-YES
-The Brothers talk about how confused HF are with this manager situation, well it doesn't matter as they don't need a manger. So get your act together.
-Randy says everyone is part of this but the worst person is where the money lies. He knows that he set him up for the last time, and he's going to get him and his dirty money for the last time. Andre has sold his soul for the last time as he's smashing his soul, and he's getting Virgil as well.

Next week; Andre & Ted respond to the challenge.

Awful, awful work from Bruti. Beyond done with this turd, so fuck this. He wins with his sleeper.
Poop

Post match, haircut.

The Brother Love Show-
-Love talks abut the love of the kings and queens of this world, and that love was shown by Harley Race before he got hurt. Now we have a new king in Haku with love being show by Brother Brain.
-Haku & Bobby come on the set as Love says this is an honour, and Haku will make a great King.
-Bobby gets emotional as he talks about Hogan, and Love shouts he showed no remorse or love whatsoever.
-Love leads the crowd in showing respect for Haku, but they boo and Bobby says that's why he hates the humanoids. Love says he doesn't have any hate in him and he has love in his heart for them and his new king just like Brother Love loves youuuuuuuu.

Match#2 Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Gino Carobello
Super fun 2 minutes for Hack as he's got the routine down pact and it's just forever fun watching this idiot shout HOOOOOOO, raise his thumb and hit people really hard in the face. He wins with the 3 Point Stance.
**

-Koko sings a tune about God and talks about how he loves to have a good time in the WWF with Frankie.

Match#3 Demolition w/Mr Fuji vs Billy Woods & Rusty Riddle
Four minutes for the absolute Gods of this shit, and its yet another tremendous squash. I love LOD and it's been years since i watched them in full (Soon to fix that, i promise) but man Demo are a perfect, perfect ripoff that became it's own legend as a result, and rightly so. They obliterate the life out of these two with a series of brutal clubs, sledges and nasty slams in between. They win with the Decapitation
**

Match#4 George Steele w/Mine vs Larry Krugar
He's better than Brutus at least, so he's got that going for him. He does his things and gets big cheers because everyone love him for being weird, and hell yeah man be that guy. He wins with the Hammerlock.
1/2*

WWF Events Center-
-Marty says they make things happen and it might be a long way to the top, but they're get there. Shawn says brains aren't their strong point, but they're stubborn and have a lot of heart, so they're fighting to the top.
-Hammer says his guard is like an elbow pad and he's never needed to wear anything to break a leg. This doesn't increase the pressure, it just makes the road to the gold that much sweeter and closer.

Match#5 The Bolsheviks w/Slick vs Omar Atlas & Joe Milano
Can the Twin Towers PLEASE form so i can be rid of these goofballs getting pushed. Wrestling happened and the Russians won with a move.
Mother Russia

WWF Update-
-Craig recaps the attack on Savage.

Match#6 Junkyard Dog vs Dusty Wolfe
THUMP

Match#7 Rick Rude w/Bobby Heenan vs Ron Stevens

Tito Santana vs Greg Valentine w/Jimmy Hart (18/7-WWF Prime Time Wrestling)
OH MY GOD YES. Tito getting back into single wrestling is a true blessing with Martel being gone for a while, so i'm going to savour every chance i get to see it. Greg tries to be a dick and mock him, and Tito has none of it and goes to town on the arm like it's 1985 and its on sight. Greg gets him with a wicked knee to the guts and beats the shit out of him, but Tito gets the arm again and shows no fear as fight back and kicks his ass all over the place. We come back from the break with Tito working the neck with a nasty looking sleeper that rocks Hammer's head back and forth, and Greg's selling is tremendous. Greg gets out and smacks Santana in the face with a lariat and turns into a classic slugfest with a trillion amazing shots from both being thrown. Tito misses a charge and eats the corner super hard, and Greg elbows and forearms his chest to knock the life out of him. Greg gets the Figure Four on after a distraction from Jimmy, but Muraco runs down and attacks for the DQ.
***

Greg and Jimmy run for the hills as Don shouts at them to fight.

WWF Superstars of Wrestling
July 23rd, 1988
Glens Falls, NY

Match#1 Honky Tonk Man w/Jimmy Hart vs Reno Riggins

Fine HTM squash as he's a very good squash guy despite not being a great wrestler for the most part unless he's working with Savage. He wins with the SRR. '
*1/2

We go right to the stage interview where Bobby, Andre, Ted and Virgil are all standing by as Craig lays out the challenge from Savage last week. Bobby says he's had weekly meetings with Tunney as of late and he's asked for a concession that needed to be asked for. If Randy wants to pay a ham and egger to be his partner then that's fine. But they're doing under ONE condition and that's if they get a referee whose a man that will control the law and order in that ring. If that's the case, then they will sign for it.
-Craig says it his lucky day as a referee has been signed for the match, JESSE THE BODY VENTURA. OH FUCK. Ted and Andre laugh their asses off as Bobby and Virgil join in to close it.
-AMAZING, Amazing angle to add to this already great feud.

Match#2 The Ultimate Warrior vs Bob Emery
Warrior murders this kid with a goddamner of a lariat to start and clobbers the hell out of him for 90 seconds with his fun sloppy stuff. Warrior has a cut in saying he's wildfire and he's just starting to spread. Jesse says no one tells him what to do and he's perfect for this as an unbiased man. Warrior hits a fucking Stinger Splash and then the normal Splash to win. Yeah, show that love for Sting.
*1/2

WWF Events Center-
-Bret says the brothers have said they don't have their act together, well they're back together and better than ever. Jim says they don't need Jimmy, and they're going to show that by beating them.
-Hacksaw is ready to pop Andre a good one and fight him in a Lumberjack match as he's got some friends out there watching his back. HOOOOOOOOOO.

They show the footage of Demo crippling Martel.

Match#3 Demolition w/Mr Fuji vs Dave Lanning & Brian Costello
Woooo, back to back for the fellas is good for my heart and soul. Another wicked hot beating for the fellas as they WASTE these poor fucks with double team clubs and a billion moments of pure shit kicking action that looks like it hurts in the worst ways. Demo have a cut in saying that's one pretty boy down, so the next one can try them. Ax says they've got a ticket to the hospital for them. Fuck yeah. They take a kids head off with the Decapitation to win.
**

SUMMERSLAM IS COMING.

Match#4 Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Mike Sharpe
Vince and Jesse ponder who Randy's partner will be, and neither can predict who it might be. Hack has a cut in saying if Randy needs someone by his side than he can count on him. Hell yeah that would rock. Fun stuff from Hack as he once again hits hard and hooooo's a lot. He wins with the 3 Point.
*3/4

WWF Events Center-
-Sean hypes up the next Boston Card.
-Bass says Frankie is going to make for some good eating when he beats Koko. He wants to make Ware mad because he loves making people mad before he fights them.
-Koko says it's going to take more than a rope to stop him, and he's going to be waiting on him. He's going to piledriveeeeeeeeeee.
-Bobby says Duggan must have been using the board on himself to choose a Lumberjack match. If Andre wants out, he's getting out no matter whose there. Andre promises to put him down again.

The Bees enjoy the ice cream bar.

Match#5 Rick Rude w/Bobby Heenan vs Joe Milano
Shorter one for Rude at 90 seconds this week, but still very good as talent will always win out and he's pretty damn talented. He wins with the RA.
*3/4

Post match, he kisses another lady.

WWF Update-
-Lord Hayes talks about all the challengers coming after Demo to tear their house down.
-POP's debut squash is shown.
-The Russians challenge them to a match.
-Noooooooooooooooooo

The Boss Man is serving justice.

Match#6 The Hart Foundation vs Scott Casey & Lanny Poffo
Fuck yeah 3 minutes of amazing HF action as they boys make for wonderful faces with the offence being highly paced and hit super hard with a snap you can't help but admire and love. Jimmy has a cut in saying he's going to make their lives miserable because he's still got their contact. Anvil really shows off with a sick dropkick and cool power stuff with that manic laugh, and i love him. Bret gets massive pops for everything he does, and he also shows off those great bits of offence he was doing in his singles matches. They win with the Hart Attack.
**

Match#7 King Haku w/Bobby Heenan vs Jerry Allen
Our king gets 2 minutes to show his skills to the loyal subjects, and it's Haku beating a person half to death under the guise of a wrestling match. So you know, it fucking rules. Every shot makes you wince and shout out loud, and it's the best and i'm so glad we're finally here. Haku wins with a truly disgusting kick to the jaw.
**

WWF Events Center-
-HTM loves to sing and he loves his hair, and he won't lose either to a bum like Brutus.
-Randy shouts the party is over for Ted as he set him up, and he's going to get them both and close the bank account. YEAH.

Next week. Randy returns and announces his partner.

Another fantastic episode. WWF 88 is amazing.

WWF Spectrum-23/7

Match#1 Greg Valentine vs Don Muraco
Don smacks the daylights out of him to start and turns into a pier 6, and it's another awesome 1988 Hammer fight with Don being there as a warm body. Hammer takes a header into the table on the outside as Don beats him down and attacks the arm, and Greg's selling is fantastic as hell. His arm is dead as Don work it and he even tries to punch with it, but he's got zero power behind it and Don stays in control. GREG GETS HIS SHIN GUARD UP AS DON RUNS AT HIM AND HE HITS HIM IN THE FACE TO DROP HIM AND GET CONTROL BACK. He goes after the leg and destroys it as only he can, and Don's selling is really good stuff. He elbows, punches and bashes it. Don mounts a comeback and nearly gets it with the Tombstone, but Greg gets his foot under the ropes. Don argues with the ref, and Greg takes the guard off and rams into Don's throat and stack pins him to win.
**1/2

Match#2 Terry Taylor vs Scott Casey

Hey, it's the cock of the walk as Pritchard would say, and not a really talented mid card guy who got stuck with one of the dumbest career ending gimmicks ever. He's working heel and stalls a lot and argues with the ref, so Casey beats him up a few times and makes him lose his mind in anger, and it's a fun act. Casey keeps it up and even throws a sick running knee to knock him down, but Terry grabs him by the tights and rams him into the buckles to take over. He works the throat and stays on the mat doing some fine basics, but it lacks a snap to really make me care sadly. He eventually wins with a Sharpshooter.
*3/4

In the back, Ted says Hogan was Randy's angel who saved him, and that's why he attacked him last week to give him a taste of what it's like to get hit from behind. That title is his and it has a price, and he will never respect Randy for hiding behind a woman and begging for her aid. He will not be held responsible for what happens if she get near this fight. Tonight, he leaves with the title.

Match#3 Randy Savage (c) w/Miss Elizabeth vs Ted DiBiase w/Virgil (WWF World Heavyweight Championship)
Ted baits Randy to chase him outside so he trip him and ram his face into a rail and beats the shit out of his face, but Randy refuses to die and comes back and unleashes another insane furry and shit cans him to the concrete floor. He beats black and blue as Ted takes wild, wild bumps for everything and it's another amazing performance. Ted grabs his tights and flings him to the floor to take over, and goes on the attack with a killer control seg with all the violent stuff he's been doing as of late being thrown in. Randy is beat to shit and looks near death, but he's got too much heart and slowly fights back and unloads punch after punch to Ted, and gets a little closer each time he's knocked back. He finally does it and kicks the snot out of him and bounces him all over the ring like a complete maniac. Randy nails the elbow, BUT VIRGIL GOES AFTER LIZ AND RANDY CHASES AFTER HIM AND THEY FIGHT IN THE ASILE AND RANDY IS COUNTED OUT.
***

Randy runs back in and fights him, but Ted manages to drop him and steals the title and has Virgil put it around his waist. Randy fights them again and gets it back and puts it on his waist and poses with Liz on his shoulder. TED RUNS BACK IN AND KNOCKS THEM OVER AND ATTACKS RANDY WITH THE TITLE. OH SHIT. He steals the title back and runs off. In the ring, Randy comes back to life, attacks the ref and runs after them. Amazing angle.

Match#4 Demolition (c) w/Mr Fuji vs Powers of Pain (WWF World Tag Team Championships)
Big monster fight kicks off as soon as they lock eyes, and it's awesome because fuck yeah man. Demo get battered and have to take a break right after, and it's another chink in their armour as maybe just maybe they aren't the strongest team in the world. POP work Ax's arm and it's fun work as they just punch and headbutt it very hard like animals, and Ax sells it quite well because he rocks. Demo rush the ring and double team Barbarian, but he fights them both off and DRILLS Smash with a gross lariat to the face. They keep fighting and SMASH RUNS AT BARB AS FAST AS HE CAN AND KNOCKS HIS HEAD OFF WITH A GROSS LARIAT TO SEND HIM TO THE FLOOR. GODDAMN. They bash the piss out of him with clubs and sledges, and the big man bumps and sells his ass off for them. Warlord has enough and attacks them and all 4 fight to the floor and go to a double counout.

WWF Wrestling Challenge
July 24th, 1988
Binghamton, NY

Match#1 Powers of Pain vs Brad Andrews & Tony Parks

POP get 2 minutes to kill some poor bastards, and it's a really fun one as they move fast and hit like trucks running over these kids. Slick comes down to ringside to take more photos, and even Heenan is taken aback about him being here as Gorilla keeps giving him shit about not having a tag team in the Family. Bobby might get him back for that one. Barb wins with the Flying Headbutt.
**

WWF Update-
-The Heenan Family gloats about having Jesse as the referee as Ted flashes the cash and laughs.
-Jesse says he tells it like it is and he'll call it like it is because he's a real man. He hasn't been bought off and will step in the ring for the first time in two years.

Match#2 Tito Santana vs Terry Gibbs
YES. Tito gets 3 minutes like old times as he works the arm in classic form and kicks Gibbs' face in, and it's amazing as hell because he's gotten even better thanks to SF giving him new life. He takes Gibbs' head off with the Forearm to win.
**

SUMMERSLAM IS COMING.

Match#3 Bad News Brown vs Dave Lanning
Awesome two minutes for News hurling this skinny little geek around the ring and cracking him super hard. He has a cut in telling the fans the to buy the new magazine to learn more about him. Bobby says News walked from the Garden back home to Harlem and no one has the guts to do that. News kills the kid with the Blaster.
**

WWF Events Center-
-The Stallions thank the fans for cheering them over the last two years for getting them to this level (what level?????) Anyway, they have an open contract and want to fight all the teams to get a title shot.
-Dino hates America.

Match#4 The Rockers vs Mike Sharpe & Chris Duffey
They get 4 minutes which is again FAR too long for a squash no matter the talent in the ring, but it still mostly works because they're cool and amazing and have a ton of things they do to fill the time. The Rougeau's have a cut in calling the Rockers too cocky, and Gorilla hates them like a big jerk. Shawn eventually ends this with his flying Fistdrop.
*3/4

WWF Events Center-
-Bass doesn't need anyone to have his back other than Betsy.
-Warrior says he will never fall because he won't let his little warriors down as he's going to fight and take all the evil down.

Match#5 Greg Valentine w/Jimmy Hart vs Mario Mancini
Hell yeah this episode. Greg gets 3 minutes to do his thing with a nasty, nasty murder of the jobber with loads of wicked shot and knee work to be found as Greg is and forever will be, the man. Greg uses the guard on the kid and wins with the Figure Four.
**

The Brother Love Show-
-BL says that love doesn't lie as it says in the book of love, and he loves youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. He brings on Jake and Cheryl as his guests as people who need to learn about love.
-Jake says he's here because Rude was running his mouth on here, but BL ignores him and moves on to Cheryl and calls her a snake. He says she is not his sister but he does know someone she's related to, and calls her a jezzabell. Jake grabs him and says to not put his hands on what he owns and he can't afford to pay the price. He chucks him back and storms off with his wife.
-Incredibly rude of Jake to treat such a nice man like this.

Match#6 Big Boss Man w/Slick vs Bill Woods
This episode keeps being amazing as heck. Two wonderful minutes of Boss using his great looking punches and fat man offence to smash the kid, and i love it a ton. Boss wins with his Boss Man slam.
**

Post match, he cuffs the jobber to the ropes and beats him with the stick.

Match#7 Ted DiBiase w/ Bobby Heenan, Virgil & Andre vs Jerry Allen
WHAT A EPISODE. Ted also gets 3 minutes to be amazingly violent and mean as fuck in another tremendous squash. Dude just can't miss as he's SO good at this point and just keeps reaching news levels. Tons of wicked looking kicks and punches in between killing him. He wins with the MDD.
**

WWF Events Center-
-Fuji says they can't fight anyone any more because they keep crippling them, so now they're got open contracts. Smash says they love to cripple people because it makes Fuji happy, and it makes them happy. Ax says he's sick of calling ambulances to take people to the hospital, and he's not doing it anymore so bring a coin so you can call collect.

Match#1 The Rockers vs The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers
We're jipped as we see Jaques shaking Shawn's hand after something has happened, and they keep playing nice guys despite it being maybe a lie and the fans go wild when Shawn kills him with a dropkick and offers his hand as a fuck you. Marty joins in and makes fools of them as they have no answer for his speed and quick elbows to the face. Jaques claps for them and then trips Shawn and stands on his ankle so Ray can come in and chicken wing him to hurt the leg and they go to town on it, and Shawn's selling is shown for the first time as they destroy his knee and he screams and fights like death to get away from them. He does and gets Marty in and they work on Jaques' arm in revenge and beat the heck out of it with some cool double teams. Marty backs up in the heels corner on accident and Ray shoves him into a lariat to the back of the head by Jaques, and they kick the shit out of him with a wonderful, wonderful control seg. They break out new double teams like Ray hitting a superkick to the ribs as Marty is stuck in a stretch, and they get more and more violent as the mask slips off to show who they really are. Jaqaues misses a crossbody and Marty gets Shawn in for a sick hot tag of fire and amazing punches as he unloads on them both. Shawn hits a sick flying knee and goes for his fist drop. but Jaques shoves him off the top and Ray gets a tight cradle to steal it.
***1/4

The Bulldogs run down and tells the ref what happened, and the Brothers off handshakes and still try to play nice, but they end up arguing with them back and getting mad at them for being in their business. DK shoves one of them down like a prick, and the Brothers have to be held back from rightly kicking his head in. The Dogs raise the Rockers hands.

In the ring, Fink officially announces SummerSlam will be coming to the Garden.

Match#2 Demolition (c) w/Mr Fuji vs The British Bulldogs (WWF World Tag Team Championships)
This gets 20 minutes in a proper long boy for Demo when they haven't gone above 15 minutes, so lets see what they can do. Lord Hayes makes mention that Demo are power and power while Bulldogs are power and speed, one must win out. Davey takes no shit as he fights Smash and gets a super close fall with a roll up to force Demo to take a breather. Smash comes back in and tries to arm work, but Davey shows he's far too fresh as he backflips out and uses his speed to control him on the mat. DK gets in to do the same, but Demo club him in to the mat and beat the crap out of him, but he shows heart and fights through and gets back to the arm and uses his speed to grind him in the mat, and it's wonderful watching a brand new plan come to life on how to possibly beat them. Fuji tries to use his cane but the ref catches him, and we get a shot of Fuji looking pissed and worried. Smash tries to pit muscle Davey only to get picked up and slammed!!! The Dogs stay in control and beat him down, but Ax runs in and helps to double team Smith and they toss Davey to the floor to hurt him. They reign down a killer beating as a wounded and hurt Demo is a truly dangerous Demo. They bash him over and over and tag out frequently to keep themselves fresh, and it shows they're also very smart monsters. They show this by cutting off DK from the apron the moment Davey might get close, and then quickly smash Davey back into the dirt. Davety gets a shoulderblock out of nowhere and gets DK in, AND DK GOES NUTS LIKE IT'S 85 AND SUPLEXEX AZ AND HEADBUTTS HIM, BUT SMASH PUNCHES HIM IN THE FACE AS HES ON THE APRON TO KNOCK HIM DOWN. He gets in and beat the shit out of him in a new control seg with more violence and anger than than the last one, and DK is murdered for his sins. They throw him to the floor and bring him back in, and Smash supelxes him over the ropes like a proper freak. DK fights though and just gets the tag before Ax can catch him, and Davey tries to hit a Piledriver but he gets backdropped and thuds on the mat as he's still hurt from before. Smash gets ion and beats his ass again with knees to the guts and back, and Davey doubles over in pain, ut he gets back up and forearms the fucker in the face and tries to pin him, BUT SMASH DEADLIFTS HIM OFF HIS CHEST AND THROWS HIM TO THE FLOOR. Demo stay on him and work the back. He gets free when he duks a charge and DK has another amazing hot tag turning back the clock as he cleans house on them, and then Davey gets back in and smacks them both with gross forearms as well. He picks one of them up and hits them with the running powerslam, but Fuji distracts the ref as all breaks loose. THE FUCKING ROUGEAU BROTHERS RUN OUT AND HIT DAVEY IN THE FACE AND STOMACH WITH THE CANE TO KNOCK HIM OUT COLD AND AX JUMPS ON TOP TO GET THE WIN.
***1/2

Match#3 Andre The Giant vs Hacksaw Jim Duggan (Lumberjack Match)

Andre breaks out the amazing stalling as he refuses to get in and gets Bobby to talk shit on the mic to kill some time, and this might be the best heel act in the entire company when it all comes down to it. Hack comes down and gets the crowd to go insane for him, and Andre blocks his ears and looks disgusted as he points at them. He snaps and attacks Hacksaw with the big wild chokes to the neck and he beat the hell out of him, and puts him down really hard when he tries to muster the strength to fight back. Andre sits on his head and neck like a big bully! Hack fights out and knocks him into the ropes for the classic spot and uses his face as a punching bag, and then Andre boots him in the head and goes back to beating his ass with the worlds biggest headlock and nasty body blows. Hack goes nuts and fights back and manages to send Andre's head into the buckles to knock him fucking silly, and reigns down punches and headbutts. He gets his board and hits him in the ribs to send him to the floor where all the jack attack him, but he fights them off with freakish ease. He gets back in and punches Hack in the stomach and smashes his head against the buckles and hits an Elbow to win.
