WWF World Champion: Hulk Hogan-23/1/84
WWF Intercontinental Champion: Randy Savage-8/2/86
WWF Tag Team Champions: The British Bulldogs-7/4/86

WWF Superstars of Wrestling
December 27th, 1986
Phoenix, AZ

Match#1 Randy Savage w/Miss Elizabeth vs Nick Kiniski

3 and a half minutes! Randy gives the kid a ton of offence to start to give us a series of wonderful maniac bumps from him, and it's the best. He shuts him down and goes berserk with offence as now he's hurt and madder than normal that this kid kicked his ass. He takes his head off with a gross elbow and then nails a sick Elbow right to the heart to end it.
**1/2

WWF UPDATE-
-Ricky is at home and he''s pissed! He's still struggling to talk, but he demands that Randy listen and know that he is his priority and before the end comes, he will have suffered.

In a pre-tape, Jesse and Brian B Blair promote Brian's charity that helps disadvantage youths. Jesse says he needs to teach the kids how to wear earrings like him so they can see what life is really like.

Match#2 Dino Bravo & The Dream Team w/Johnny Valiant vs Tito Santana, Pedro Morales & Hillbilly Jim
Tito and Hammer finally fight again and it rocks so much for maybe the minute it gets for the 3 and half this goes. The rest of the gang are whatever, but they're mostly fine as they're at least trying hard. Johnny V trips Pedro right in front of Davis, and Dino slams him and gets the win.
*3/4

Post match, the faces try and confront Davis, BUT THE HEELS STAND IN THEIR WAY AND HELP HIM LEAVE RINGSIDE. OH, YOU ROTTEN SON OF A BITCH.

Killer Ken-
-The Bulldogs are very proud to still have the titles and will fight everyone. Ken asks if the schedule and grind will finally get to them, and DK says they've been working out and wrestling, but also spending time on the beach and relaxing. They've got an open contract for any team who wants a shot at them as they're fighting champions. Davey warns the managers to be aware of Matilda.

Blackjack Mulligan shows off a wagon on his farm. This is the worst stuff in the world.

We go to Lord Alfred Hayes in the studio. He shows clips of Andre's legendary career and says he's never backed away from an opponent no matter the size or the number of them. We see clips of his battles with the Heenan Family over the last two years. Alfred shows more clips of Andre's first interview when his suspension was lifted a few weeks ago and he was very coy about the details. Alfred then shows last weeks interview with Jesse and Andre, but with an extra part shown where Andre tells Jesse he speaks far too much and can't mind his business and he's not telling him anything.

Again, this is the best build WWF has given us for the top feud.

Killer Ken-
-Randy calls Ken stupid for listening to Bruno and letting him make an impression on his stupid brain. Bruno can't tie this punks shoes anytime in his career, and for that statement he's going to not only hit the elbow on him, he going to embarrass him and end the living legend. HE'S GOING TO END HIS CARRER, AND THERE'S SMALL CHANCE HE COULD END HIS LIFE. RICKY STEAMBOAT SAVE A BED IN THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE MR CHEAPSHOT IS COMING NEXT TO HIM.

Match#3 Adrian Adonis w/Jimmy Hart vs David Gold
35 seconds of nothing before the sleeper ends it.
1/4*

It's time for Piper's Pit. He has a man here this week that can lift the world and is faster than a speeding bullet, that man is Hercules. Bobby says they will not be made fools of as they made the pit. Hercules hoisted Hogan on his back on SNME and made him quit. Herc says he beat him right in the middle, and Piper shouts to prove it and keeps telling them to prove every claim they're making. Piper dares Herc to rip the chains off his neck, but Heenan refuses to let him do it. Booooooo

Match#4 US Express vs Spot & Tim Patterson
Vince says Jesse is on a losing streak when it comes to finding anything out about Andre, so Jesse fires back and says they're all jealous of him being a Hollywood star. He's going to speak to Andre again next week. Really short squash and not much here at all, sadly. Airplane Spin ends it.
12*

We go to an interview with Jesse and Jack Tunney. Jesse brings up the fans wanting Kamala's top rope splash to be banned, and he wants to know what Jack is going to do. Jack says he can't as it would mean that Koko and others would be banned from coming off the top as well, so his hands are tied. Jesse laughs and says he loves to see him with his hands tied, so Kamala keep on splashing.

Outback Jack loves crocs and he's finally coming to the WWF to meet his American mates.

Match#5 King Harley Race w/Bobby Heenan vs Sivi Afi
JYD has a cut in saying he's never seen a king in his life and he sure wouldn't bow to one. Race wins in 30 seconds with the Fisherman's Buster

WWF Wrestling Challenge
December 28th, 1986
Tuscon, AZ

Last show for 1986

Tonight; Hart Foundation & Adonis vs US Express & SD. Andre returns in the Snake Pit.

Match#1 Koko B Ware vs Frenchie Martin
3 Sick minutes for our Birdman. Fun selling for the jobber and then he fires back and murders the old man with his killer offence that he no answers for. Dropkick and Ghostbuster ends it.
**

In a pre-tape, Piper is adoring his pictures in the WWF Magazine.

Match#2 The Hart Foundation & Adrian Adonis w/Jimmy Hart vs The US Express & SD Jones
B show heaven hits us again. Babyface shine to start with the fellas throwing their weight around and making the heels eat dirt. Bret is briefly isolated and gets his butt kicked and bumps around for them until he cuts IRS off, and they control him. Good stuff as always as even AA is trying hard, so heck yeah. Things break down (tm) and AA beats SD with the Sleeper.
**

Killer Ken-
-The Rougea's think the WWF is the best thing to happen to WWF as it gives them the chance to meet the best wrestlers in the world. 1987 will give them a chance to win the tag titles. Jaques says everyone should be with their families and please don't drink and drive.

Match#3 Kamala w/Kimchee & King Curtis vs Bill Anderson
30 seconds of cool fat death. Super Splash does it.
1/2*

Post match, the jobber is taken out on the stretcher on account of being dead.

Kamala goes to leave, AND KING KONG BUNDY COMES OUT FOR HIS MATCH AND THEY STARE EACH OTHER DOWN IN THE AISLE WAY. GODZILLA MEETS KING KONG. THEY SIZE EACH OTHER UP AND TALK SOME SHIT, AND KIMCHEE GETS KAMALA TO LEAVE THE SCENE AS BUNDY WANTS TO FIGHT. HOLY SHIT I WANT THIS MATCH.

Match#4 King Kong Bundy w/Bobby Heenan vs Pedro Gonzales
Bundy is very upset and takes it out on the little fella in sick and fun fashion. Avalanche and the 5 count does the deed.
*

We go to the Snake Pit. Jake says some men go through life without knowing what they're touching, and his next guest is the biggest man ever to get in a ring. Andre. Jake says he wonders if Damien could squeeze the life out of his neck, and Andre asks if it's a gator snake, and Jake gets very upset and says it's a python. He might get a bigger one to get that job done (89 is going to rock). Jake says everyone is trying to find out wha happened, so it's time to let the book open and let the pages fly. Andre says "This book is a mystery one" and Jake backs off right away and says that's his business and we'll let it go and try again when he wants to talk, my man.

Match#5 Dino Bravo w/Johnny Valiant vs Alex Knight
Gorilla presses Bobby for an answer and he again ignores him and refuses to give him a thing. Hebner has a cut in saying Davis is unfit to be a referee in the WWF. Horrible match for 3 minutes as Dino can't go a minute without looking like a lost kid, so this is an insane task. He keeps throwing the kid out of the ring and doing lame power stuff, and Gorilla calls it a waste of energy. Backdrop Suplex ends it.
POOP

In a pre-tape, Bobby is with Randy Savage. Bobby says he's done damage and his family has done damage, so he has to ask if he feels any remorse or if he feels sad for him. Randy says he felt sorry when he wrestled him, and then he when he jumped off on the rail and then when he came down on that throat. But he REALLY feels sorry for him if he ever steps in the ring with him again. YEAH DIG IT.

Butch Reed, Nikolai Volkoff & The Iron Sheik w/Slick vs. The Islanders & Jose Luis Rivera
Piece of crap as the Islanders get maybe 30 seconds of offence before JLR is tagged in and killed as jobber fodder for the next two minutes. Nik beats him with a backbreaker.
Fuck off

Killer Ken-
-Jake Roberts says he always shows you something a little different and it's never boring. He does things he shouldn't do, or what people think he shouldn't do. Killer says he thought he was friends with Randy and there was respect, so now he and wonders why he wants a title shot. Jake says he respects no man as he wouldn't be able to beat them in the ring This is a business, if you think he would have a great idea and give it to someone to make a mint? He destroys people and he has a goals and he'll get them anyway he can.

Goodbye 1986, you were beautiful

1986 FEUD OF THE YEAR

Incredible year for feuds as we got Randy/Tito killing it in the IC title feud and having the best matches of the year. Hogan and Wonderful was born from a perfect build and sick promos and even though the matches weren't amazing, it was still a blast. Then there was one more feud bathed in blood, concrete and reptiles. A feud between two men that wanted to kill each other and came as close to doing it as anyone before or after. One feud stood above the rest in an impeccable year.

1986 TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR.

I said it last year that i was so happy it was finally a contest and a real race to the top, and this year was that and even more. Dream Team and Bulldogs traded it back and forth for the first few months, but then Hart Foundation, Killer Bees and Rougeau Brothers all got in the race and made it a super tight battle right to the end. In the end though, the lead that one team got early in the run was just a little too much for anyone else to catch. Our winners are...

1986 WRESTLER OF THE YEAR

This was not a close fight at all for one second once this man got cooking. When you have over half the best matches of the year and long and amazing squashes on TV every week, this is going to happen with ease. The one big thing to note from this is who came second in only his second year in the company, because that man is going to be challenging and eventually winning this a few times if it goes the way i think. Anyway, without any more rambling i give you your 1986 wrestler of the year
