I was reading an article where Coachman was complaining about Dom breaking kayfabe because he posted photos on his social media with his wife.

We all know kayfabe has been mostly dead for a while and that almost everyone in the entertainment business has social media and it’s a great way to share your life with fans but I guess there are still some people out there who don’t like this so does it personally bother you?

Wrestling is a television show (of course)…though I truly enjoyed the days of total kayfabe, I’m fine with it being almost non-existent and I treat the wrestlers no different than actors in other tv shows/movies. Seeing their personal lives doesn’t change anything for me, I’ll be interested and buy it if it’s a good storyline, that’s what matters to me. I certainly welcome any kayfabe but I’m not bothered if I see two guys hanging at a bar who are beating each other up week after week on tv.

How about you?

On social media I don't mind it but on the actual show I hate it.

like I might be remembering this wrong but they mentioned dom's wedding on RAW when he's with Rhea. just dumb.

I guess for me, it depends to a point. Stuff like people posting stuff with their S/O doesn't bother me that much tbh, but like if Drew and Punk posted a photo of them hanging out and chilling, I probably wouldn't like that as much I guess. But I wouldn't bitch about it or anything to hard lol. So yeah it just depends on what they post or do I guess to break it.

I'm almost positive it did because they mentioned he even got boo'd at his wedding.

Anyway, yeah if it's off the actual show I don't care but during the show keep it kayfabe.

Yeah, it was Pat so that example could have been him going off script. Was just the first one that popped into my mind.

Nah dawg, kayfabe outside the show doesn't matter to me.

I look at wrestling similar to a stage play, you have to suspend your disbelief to the story being told to you, but when guys are outside the arena and not performing for an audience or getting paid for a side gig, they're all just normal peeps living their everyday lives. I also don't really have a problem with non-kayfabe stuff getting mentioned particularly when it benefits the story or so much time has passed from it that it becomes sort of like a video game easter egg.

Not at all. Kayfabe was always a little weird to me because people cherish it in some aspects but imo things like super natural characters broke kayfabe to me. So if it’s not going to be presented as something real all across the board then there’s no point in half assing it.

I was thinking about this very thing a few Weeks ago when I saw a Clip of Ospreay being seen near Nana partying it up in the Club with the feud with Swerve going on. Did it bother me not really it will never be like it was when I first started watching they could get away with hanging out because their wasn't Social Media and Phones near capturing everything. I can only imagine what we might of got to see if Cell Phones and Social Medias were around during the Attitude Era.

To an extent it does matter

Back in 2017, Roman and Strowman were in the middle of a blood feud.

But they posted a pic of themselves together at Disney World.

I know it’s not real but at least put some effort in
