Yeah I've jumped around a bit with both brands. I'll do a bunch from say 98 raw, remember something from 2003 smackdown and get on that kick for a bit, then back to raw in like 97.. Then smackdown in 2002 lol. Then back to watching in chronological order raw 98.

I also love watching the "Monday Night Wars" episodes I think that series is cool too. Highlighting the different AE aapects.

I was fortunate enough to have been watching wrestling during the Monday Night Wars up until around mid 1998. It could be worth it, for those who haven't, to watch both the Raw and the Nitro for each day and try to capture the feeling of the War. It really was unlike anything else I have ever experienced.

I did also watch periodically throughout 97-2000. But didn't really know anything about the war. I just knew there was wwf (sorry..i had to lol) and wcw. And wcw had Goldberg so that automatically made it cool lol

That's not to say I disliked wwf. They had way more cool guys lol I liked them better. That was wrestling. Wcw I always saw as the worse show but having a couple big names I would watch it sometimes

WCW was really, really good for a while. When they were beating WWF, they deserved to be beating them. But they messed up and didn't evolve their story lines and it got boring as hell... plus they messed up with the Sting and Hogan match.. 18 months of building a match up just to screw it up and that was the beginning of the end for them.

But I intend one day to go through and maybe rewatch the entire war on the network.

If you watched WWF in 1995/1996 you would understand why Nitro was so good when t was beating WWE. It was still good in 1997, but then it got worse and WWF got better and by 1999 it became semi pointless to watch while 1998 had its up and downs.

I watched a couple of episodes of Nitro recently, it has not aged to badly overall its probably better than an average RAW or Smackdwon 2017 epsiode (from 1996/97) and it has a few fingerprints in presentation WWF borrowed (heel authority figure).

1995 was the dribbling shits for WWF and that is when Nitro started to put it in context. I can't remember much from 1995 but remember matches from the 80's, 1991 (Hogan/slaughter, Shawn turning on Janetty), 1992 (Rumble, Hart/Bulldog Summerslam), 1993 (Wrestlemania IX for the wrong reasons), and 1994 (Ladder match, Owen/Bret feud).
