I do remember doing a suplex near the ropes meant that you could throw the guy over the ropes though. Love that game!

I've played every annual WWE game since the first Smackdown VS Raw game, and I think 2k17 is one of the best since then. The gameplay's a lot better and more fluid, you can go backstage and fight in the crowd, the graphics are great but I see where you're coming from. MyCAREER mode was pretty lacklustre and duller than the previous year's, WWE Universe is improving, but still needs a lot of work as it becomes stale if you don't keep editing all the shows and championships frequently. The gameplay has improved but it's a bit repetitive. UFC 2 has some of the best pure gameplay out of any sports game I've ever played, and I think if WWE adopted something similar to UFC 2's combat system, it could help the series a lot. To answer your question, yes and no.
