In what way do you feel trolled by Cena? This just got interesting.

I am by no means a Cena fanboy but I'd like to know how you feel trolled/cheated by how he works a story.

Have you not listened to his actual trolling promos...?

Like he constantly mentions issues the IWC moan about, working the IWC like a boss.

That I class as working the crowd and not as trolling. Everyone judges trolling differently. I do not take any form of offence or "you got me" "son of a bitch you know whats up" feelings from Cena when he mentions issues that we have with him and the WWE. I take it as WWE or at least him acknowledging it and I then class that as a good thing. It means that they know what we think and don't ignore us.

Before his match with The Rock, during his stupid feud with Kane (which completely destroyed Kane's epic return just for....well for nothing) , they were teasing his heel turn.....

They know that the IWC wants him to turn heel, yet they were trolling us by teasing his heel turn without actually doing it and making him win and win without doing it and destroy Kane and Ryder characters without doing it...

He laughs and mocks the "five moves of doom" - something that originated from the IWC. Then he goes on and does the five moves of doom against Lesnar and beats him clean. Classic trolling.

Again. Only trolling if you allow yourself to be trolled. I take the things he does with stride and thus aren't bothered by it.

As for the teased heel turn it is not trolling either. It is a way of keeping Cena the character fresh without actually turning him. We got more interested in the Cena story since we thought he was turning heel and even without him actually turning it set him up as a more serious character which was needed for his upcoming match with the Rock considering the year long build up. Cena needed to "step it up" in kayfabe and a for it's era violent feud with Kane did the trick.

When he told Punk :"For 300 days you have been WWE Champion, for 300 days that Championship has been irrelevant"

I was sure that the guy is either stupid or he is just trolling us (Punk fans)

If you consider what Cena does trolling then that is because you react to it. A key part in trolling is that you have to get a reaction from your target. Simply ignoring or not being affected by the supposed trolling negates it.

To quote the Urban Dictionary:
Signs that your trolling is unsuccesful:
*Your victim identifying you as a troll.
*Identifying yourself as a troll.
*Your efforts being ignored.
*Being counter-trolled (See below)

So wrong it's not even funny.

It's like calling a rapist not a rapist because he hasn't successfully raped you yet. No one here calls him a troll because we were trolled, his promos on the IWC is just working the IWC, something you implied he didn't do, and we have proved that he has. But you now say he hasn't because he hasn't successfully worked you, but that doesn't mean he isn't trolling period... lol.

You are going to draw comparisons between pro wrestling and rape? Harsh but okay.

In my opinion two completely different subjects with different complexity and impact. A wrestler trolling the fans is such a light thing and since it is in it's essence humor it comes down to personal taste. Thus why I say that it comes down to personal reaction to what Cena says and does. Rape is a completely different cake all in itself. It is a crime and an act of violence which can even affect an entire community. John Cena referencing the five moves of doom before performing them will not justify him a jail sentence nor will it traumatize the entire IWC.

I know that there is a universal definition of what trolling is and that what Cena does is trolling towards the fanbase in an attempt at humor. I just don't class it as myself being trolled because I have accepted John's limitations as the top dog on the mountain and thus am okay with him poking fun at himself and our opinion of him.

Once again you missed the point, lol.

It's like calling a baker not a baker because he/she hasn't baked you something yet. Maybe that metaphor will be easier to understand. His point was Cena works the IWC in promos (WHETHER YOU GET WORKED OR NOT) lol.

How can you ignore what he says?

He is the face of this company and if I along with many fans ignored what he says, then the children and women who adore him will listen to him, and that's definitely a no way to build the other guy (CM Punk)....

CM Punk is the WWE Champion for 300 days, and you must build his reign as it's a big deal, calling it "irrelevant" while you are the face of the company is just stupid....

yea I as a punk fan knows that what he is saying is complete bullshit but what about the kids and women who worships him, how are they supposed to take punk's reign seriously if "their" face of the company is telling them not to?

Have I ever denied Cena being a troll just because I haven't been trolled by him? As far as I know and in my opinion no I have not even though that might have been the way you have interpreted what I have said. I admit that he is trolling but again as I said I am not affected by it the same way as some of you seem so I just let it slide. I don't sit and go "John Cena you sly troll you"
