As opposed to him currently being on a hot winning streak and getting booed out of the building?

1. Crowd noise on Smackdown and NXT is edited in, in post production, you realise that right?

2. If he was actually over and hot, why do you think he is now in a comedy rock band?

3. How many units do you think a Best of Mahal: the throw away winning streak of beating jobbers on DVD is going to sell?

Why would they edit in that stuff? Makes no sense. I can understand why Mahal would get the reactions he gets. I certainly love this faction right now, Would really enjoy if they went Freebirds style after the belts.

Being booed is the whole basis of being a heel.

Seriously?

Jinder Mahal has always bored me, and I never liked him, currently though, instead of being fired, this is the best place for him.

WWE needs to do a Randy Orton vs. Jinder Mahal match. That way I could put it on whenever I need to sleep.

Well, yes it does. it gives the impression to the viewer that the fans aren't sitting on their hands. Have you never asked yourself why the crowds sound SO different from Raw (live) to Smackdown (taped). It's the same when DVD's are released and certain boos turn into cheers... They've been doing it for years. Find a live recording of Royal Rumble 1992 - Hogan was booed at the end when he eliminated Sid. The boos were erased.

Look up any match with the Great Khali. Last Smackdown I went to people were copying the ECW One Night Stand 2005 routine and screaming "Change the Channel, clap clap clap clap clap" and "Booorrinng! borrrinngg!" but when I tuned in to watch it on Friday night 3 days later, there was the same "canned" pop for Khali when he came farting and hobbling out to the ring. I noticed how they kept the camera angles tight and it seemed like they weren't trying to show the obviously displeased crowd who were sitting on their hands or trying in vain to get him to leave the ring by booing him out of the arena.

Curt Hawkins would add nothing to this group, hes one of the most generic wrestlers out there.

Never get some of you guys. Hate on the biggest stars of all time then mark for somebody who looks like a template CAW from WWE 13 and never appears on TV.

Slater grew on me after how he handled his losing streak vs. the Legends storyline. He took the tiny ball that was given to him and ran with it, producing some pretty fun television leading up to the 1000th episode.

I'm also a fan of Drew McIntyre, even though I don't think the gimmick is still working for him. Despite how hard he's been trying to get it over, the whole character just looks forced to me. The same goes for Jinder Mahal as well. Except compared to McIntyre, I don't think he's any good in the ring.

That said, I don't mind them as a group overall. They're a comedy act who's purpose is to make other wrestlers look good, and they're quite good at doing that.
