I can't recall off hand, only that he has been winning. Where did all of these losses come in? I must have missed them.

What spoiler?

Anyway, I didn't even notice those. Most are against jobbers, but I guess they've been "building him up" as of late. Was that #1 contender match last SmackDown? I skip through SO much of it. If he's already the #1 contender, that makes me even more mad that he beat ADR last night.

I know for a fact he had a long run of losing, but that was near his MITB match.

Didn't he lose to Kane a week or two ago?

He's been winning every match since MITB. He jobbed a bit before it, yes, but theoretically he's got momentum now, so he beats the WHC (via roll up, didn't make him look that weak) and will end up challenging him I think.

Yeah, it's because they're building Christian up to be a title contender. Thing is, don't "contenders" need mic time to feel like actual contenders? This doesn't make Christian look like a credible contender, he still has no momentum (then again neither does ADR, so guess we can call the WHC the third creative crutch championship. Congrats, WWE!)

But count your blessings Crayo. Christian getting this spot = no RVD at Summerslam! :yay:

I'm also annoyed by how they often build towards championships feuds by having the challenger pin the champion. It's fine to do it on a rare occasion but they seem to do it so often that it's aggravating - They did with Kofi Kingston pinning The Miz to get a shot at the Intercontinental Title, Wade Barrett pinning Kofi Kingston to get a shot at the Intercontinental Title, either The Miz or Fandango pinning Wade Barrett to get a shot at the Intercontinental Title, Justin Gabriel pinning Antonio Caesro to get a shot at the United States title, someone pinning Team Hell No to get a shot at the tag team titles (I think?), and Jack Swagger pinning Dolph Ziggler just one week after Ziggler cashed in to win the belt to qualify for another shot at the WHC, etc.

I'll copy and paste what I said in the Raw Spoilers thread:

"I'm happy Christian is getting a title shot most likely, but is there no way to build towards a world title match than to job out the champions to the challengers? What happened to #1 contender's matches? Battle royals? Tournaments? Or hell, even just an imaginary ranking system where an authority figure (which could be either Maddox, Vickie or even Vince/Stephanie/HHH themselves at the moment) randomly naming someone the number one contender for a belt? I would have been fine with something as simple as Del Rio going up to Vince or any of the McMahons (or Maddox himself) with the WHC draped over his shoulder saying that he needs an opponent for Summerslam and he wants the best competition he can get. They tell Del Rio to let them think about it and later on, they either name Christian the challenger based on the fact that he's a former two-time WHC himself (just like Del Rio) or they set up a match between Christian and someone (maybe another former WHC) where Christian goes over. Or maybe after Maddox or whoever tells Del Rio to give them some time to think about it, we see a backstage segment later on with Del Rio walking the hallways where he has a brief spontaneous interaction with Christian that quickly turns into a confrontation, where Christian is maybe mocked for losing the All-Stars MITB match and Del Rio rubs it in his face that he's the WHC. A brawl erupts, and either Del Rio or Christian go to Maddox and tell him they want the other at Summerslam, and their match is granted."

I believe on RAW they announced ADR will announce the person he wants to face at SummerSlam, and it could possibly be Christian after his roll-up victory over Alberto on RAW.

To Christian? A guy who always loses? I'm no ADR mark and I'm one that doesn't think he should be champion at all right now, but if you're going to have him as your champion, why make him lose to Christian? I skipped through some of the match so I'm unsure if it was completely clean, but wtf was with that?

You really spammed something serious lately. Fuck off with your Christian/y2j hate, those dudes are stars who are doing what we all wish people like angle/sting/hogan/rvd/those old fucks would do. And yet, you complain about it.

Yeah, christian is going to win 20% of the time, and it will still be a great match. You are bitter about watching great matches, and it's honestly to the point where i think you only hate for the sake of being a dick.

Shouldnt you be at work? That gimmick word is magical, you use it and it almost makes your opinion relevant.

Go make your IWT post and do the damn thing.

I am at work, slow day, lots of time to troll you here, one of my favourite pass times
