To Christian? A guy who always loses? I'm no ADR mark and I'm one that doesn't think he should be champion at all right now, but if you're going to have him as your champion, why make him lose to Christian? I skipped through some of the match so I'm unsure if it was completely clean, but wtf was with that?

WWE seem to think that the only way to set up a WHC fued these days is to have the champ lose to the challenger. It's stupid, because after giving away the match on TV you care less about it, and it makes the championship feel less prestigious. I never understand why they don't have more number 1 contender matches/tournaments to determine the challenger - it keeps the champion protected and it makes matches that are normally pointless actually mean something.

I'm a Christian fan, so I'm fine with the victory. I understand what you mean, but tune into SmackDown this week and it'll make sense.

From my understanding it was a rollup so it didn't make ADR look weak.

He jobbed to Orton like two weeks ago cleanly. Nothing out of the ordinary.

They should have more battle royals to set up no 1 contenders. We used to see that a lot.

While that was also wrong, Orton is a credible superstar, MITB holder, and is scheduled for a ME push on RAW. Christian loses to every single wrestler he competes against. Why does the champion need to lose to set up a feud?

Not that I am arguing for WHC losing, I am against it and hate even when champs have non-title matches, but Christian has actually been winning since returning this time.
