I don't know if I agree with this or not. It seems pretty WIFOMy to use to clear someone.
It's not like Lethal knew Chris was about to flip as soon as he hammered OMB, so I think we can rule out preemptive distancing, which makes Lethal being serious about that vote the most likely option.
