He’s been a side player this whole angle already

And it’s not even cuz I don’t like the guy but he was the feuding with Claudio and is now gonna fuck off for however long…this was in now way his story

My point is also that Darby as champ going to all in? Nah that does not scream Mania to me.

Here's what was likely the plan: Darby was gonna beat Danielson n lose immediately to mox anyways. When they figured Danielson was too busted they skipped the Darby stuff n went right to mox.
We know Darby was doing everest so we know he would have lost the belt by now. He would never be planned to win in the time frame he was leaving. He's not a big enough star to Mai. Or co main the biggest ppv of the year. To me that's illogical n why I don't buy any of what the sheets are selling .

I disagree with this part. Mox taking Darby's shot was very much a key part of it and Darby has been shown as constantly against the group, Claudio is basically a gatekeeper for Darby to overcome before getting to Mox. Him disappearing for month though would not help at all

The issue is also ignoring that a lot of characters have been presented as better than Darby. Darby is being presented as he will die for aew. Cassidy was booked way likelier to beat mox then unhinged Darby.

There's way too many players involved to confidently say it's gonna Darby n I find ignoring the entire play is a case of bring myopic and trying to make a report fit the booking.
